Recording the wrong car?

Hey I skimmed thru and couldnt find anything quite like what is happening to me. i have several replays now that when i view them they have followed a random ai car. Its like it picked one for every replay to follow and just recorded it instead of me..

 

Does tabbing to a different vehicle work?

Are you using the camera path editor or just regular replays?

 

just the replay, Im pretty sure. Idk if it has something to do with one of my camera mods... It just started

 

If you have camera mods you could try to launch the game in safe mode.

Note that replays that are recorded in safe mode will not be saved.

 

Yea idk what happened, but i downloaded the Codenameldfullsized and it worked fine, but the replay rerecorded a competently random car all 3 times i tried with it, so i close the game, I write my post, then open the game and recorded a different car just fine. With the game still open i go back to the codename mod and it has locks up the car with the wheels turned all the way left. everything works exceptt turning and going anywhere... So.... I'm not too sure what i did..

 

The codename mod appears to be the culprit. Unfortunately I can't help you with fixing the mod. The solution right now is to disable the mod.

 

Fair enough... And Idk if I'd even blame that one specifically... I think i have some combo of configuration-ing mod that is messing with stuff..

Edit: it doesnt appear to be happening anymore. It was just really weird that i could drive it but not record, well, kinda not record, but then I could record it, but it wouldnt move anywhere.... I wonder if clearing the cache.... Idk, ty
