Not sure why, but at least with the 1.6 BFQ 75 kW engine the car is incredibly slow / poorly accelerating compared to real car. Even when I changed the final drive for shorter one. Accelerating from 90 km/h to 130 km/h it takes 30 seconds, but in real with slightly loaded car (combi) it's more like 10s. Since the car weight and power are almost spot on, I don't realy had an idea what could be the cause, maybe something with air ressistenece.

 

do you have 4.25 final ratio, as this was the correct one for the car?

its very cute but for some reason it makes my game lag a lot idk why, when i spawn other vehicles/mods it doesn't lag my game nearly as much as the octavia

Fun fact: The "base dashboard" was actually used on all Octavias until 1998 and only after that did it continue in base models until 2004. The more fitting name would be old dashboard, because in 1997 you could have bought an slx or glx with that dashboard.
