For example: With / without fenders on the second front axle. (noticed it clips with the air filter, so if that bothers you, use the internal air filter)
Probally my favourite mod, wish the conventional twin-steer was more like this tho. Still, amazing mod!
Like the extra loads in the tipper. Always sucked not being able to select a load for it in vanilla beam. Only other thing missing load now is the concrete agitator. Would be nice if beam could add a load to that. Seen a guy add particle load to the tgs add-on pack that looked cool. Don't know if particle can be adjusted to have a weight value on not but would be cool. Hopes and dreams
I haven't tried the TGS pack so I'll have to look at it. I tried some experiments with making dirt loads but they were way too glitchy. That's called a brake chamber. The odd deformation is long known issue with the twinsteer that I haven't found a fix for yet.
To be fair, something like dirt would blow up most devices. We're talking about putting 100+ extra particles, each with their own name and physics.
is there any plans for some lowered suspension setups? like lower air suspension and maybe even air suspension on the steering axles.
Is there any way that you can make wheel off-set tuning possible for the T-series? Tried to make config with just wide wheels but the fronts are really off-set outwards and the rears are off-set inwards
The problem with that is that on some configurations that would completely extend beyond the front frame which could cause physics issues. I could look at it, but it can't afford to be much shorter than the medium tridem frame due to driveshaft clearance. --- Post updated --- I don't plan on doing lowered suspension as my interest is more toward Heavy Haul/Off-highway trucks. Also adding air ride to the front wouldn't be work the amount of work it would need to add --- Post updated --- I could maybe work on adding a bit of offset tuning though there isn't much leeway with offset without wrecking the suspension geometry or severely weakening the spindles.
So, I tried using the aux tanks and ditching the stock tanks for clearance, but it appears that they are not working and dont give fuel to the engines. Is this normal, or is something being done wrong?
I just noticed the 18-speed isn't an 18-speed at all. The gearbox itself has 5 forward gears and one splitter, which combined with the one already in the truck actually gives you 20 effective gears. Better check that when you have the time.
That is a limitation of my still using the default Beamng transmission code is I can't lock out the "Low" gear when in high range. I know the GTG mod got around this with completely custom transmission LUA but that is way beyond me.
