Update Speculation thread

But seriously where are they?? this hasn't happened before i dont think, is there a problem with the development or something?

 

Considering they had to omit the cement mixer from the T-series, and seemingly basic problems like the moonhawk nosecone material being broken, it seems the vehicle team flat out ran out of time to finish the extra content for it.

So it's quite possible they're playing catchup, and 0.32 as far as content will just be extra parts for the semi,
kind of like the aurata coming well after 0.27, or phase 2 of the D-series remaster, or the bastion/bolide being delayed.
At the end of the day, it seems the april/june/september updates are always smaller, so it's highly unlikely they're "cooking" anything absolutely massive for 0.32.
I suspect we'll see further development and tweaking in the career mode, and either:
A "phase 2 remaster" for the T series, perhaps with more engine options, drop axles, a racing variant, etc.
or,
A minor "refresh" of yet another untouched vehicle, the ones most eligible for that at this point are probably the ETKI, 80s pessima, Miramar, or Burnside.

As for other features, dynamic dirt/scratches using the groundwork of the dynamic decal editor is apparently off the cards as well.

 

I would also like to remind people, it’s only a month past the holidays. The T-Series’ level of development was nuts and was significantly undermined by many. But as you said, there are missing details which I’d be happy with seeing the update devoted to while the devs get ‘some’ breathing room (considering there are always background bugs and such we never see being tackled, so breathing room is typically still crunch time).

 

I'd be happy enough with a part2 T-Series remake and one or two remasters. We might see a euro truck but who knows how far in development that is.
Big changes are being worked on like dynamic paint and tires, or construction-related implementations, which we might see complete at the end of the year or when gta VI releases

Honestly, they’ve been slacking with teasers since 0.31. Only 2 teasers?
Also by now if 0.31 was 0.30 0.31 would be out.
