Procyon Vela Bug Reporting Thread 1.0.1

Finn has already seen this in Beamcord but I'll post it here so it isn't buried. In Comfort mode, there isn't any engine or exhaust noise at idle. Still, great mod!

 

When a wheel isn't touching the ground but another is, if you switch gears or drivemodes very quick (I don't really know what triggers the bug but by doing this you can replicate it), the car stops letting you press the throttle nor going forwards (with the arrow keys too). The brake isn't functional either but in-game is represented as if it is pressed (thats why when going to arcade mode the car goes backwards). This may look as if this can't happen while playing normally with the car, but I have experienced this issue many times now in different ocassions (mainly when switching drive modes). Spawning the car again fixes the problem.

 

is it just my game or is the highest trim vela the aeb isnt working in any mode but it is working in the ccf

 

1. On Vela S220

The soft top convertible is opened and cannot be automatically retracted anymore

(Even if it can be retracted, deformation may occur)

2. The logo on "Perspex Wind Reflector" is still CCF, not Vela

 

If the car is off i don't lag but when i turn it on and go less than 20mph i run at like 10 fps but over 20mph i don't lag anymore how can i fix

 

Turn off parking sensors

 

out of curiosity- are we ever going to see more exhaust options or maybe a widebody kit or other performance stuff?

as for "bugs" and/or issues:
-is the rear alignment supposed to not be adjusted even though its a double wishbone setup? the only parameter is camber, and there isn't a toe adjustment
-It can be manual swapped, and the dashboard changes to reflect that, but the console shifter doesn't appear to be able to be swapped out for a stick shift in the config menu. or i'm just blind lol

 

Is the hood release meant to be so deep into the dash bottom?
Also, the floor mats say “CCF”
yes this is an extremely minor nitpick and it doesn’t matter i know

 

This is the greatest mod I've ever seen. I would like to point out that (afaik) there is no way to roll down the rear window from the interior of the car without using the keybinds. (May be from the ccf mod itself) Also the vehicle sometimes get stuck in reverse. Amazing work! Also you should add an electric config!

 

IIRC the doors have window rolling up and down buttons.

 

i presume adas on vela works not properly

 

When I put the car into reverse, it says "enable mirror in settings", but my mirrors / detailed mirrors are on. Parking Sensors are working on both versions but the Vela doesnt have the camera showing up. Is it a problem just for me or its not in the car yet? Thanks.
(Also, its the best mod in the game even if we talk about the paid mods too. Best in the game really)

 

there isn't a way to add a back up camera in Beam yet, so this is just a placeholder.

 

The policy on modding the car isn’t anything to do with the Procyon brand, but rather because I spent a long while on it and released it for free. It’s just my one request after all of that for you guys to let me know if you want to make something for it or using it.

The interior is mind boggling. It genuinely looks like something a real-life car would have. I have one small request, though- would you be able to make a trim/part set that has stiffer adaptive coilovers and sway bars? I love the way they ride and the lack of bump steer is nice, but they're a tad bit on the loose side. It could be called the "RS" or "GT" suspension or something.

found a few tiny bugs: check engine light clips through the gear ui, and (this doesn't happen all the time) the speed unit is kmh even though I use mph.
