Oh Shiiii... Wait i thought it was 0.23 cus thats the one for 32bit pcs? you cant get 0.24 from the steam command. HE MUST HAVE PIRATED IT!!!
Ok, so did some research on this car, the Cup spec isn't really an actual model, unless you're talking about the racing event the "205 GTI cup" - in which case that allowed 205s of Groups N and A to enter, so I guess that's that. But I'm just wondering still, is the 1.3 Rally Spec built to either Group A, or N? Those are the only two groups the normal 205 (not T16) can enter in
This is true, the cup model does not exist in real life. I just made it because high grip low power cars are fun to hoon around in multiplayer with friends, as it makes for close exciting racing. Its very very loosely based off of the 206gti cup. Except lighter and grippier.
Yes you can get 0.24 from the command line. yes it has 32 bits. I tried it, it crashes on every map other than gridmap V1 and grid small pure. You can’t spawn on Italy neither
why do you even care if he pirated it? --- Post updated --- if you pirated beamng just download the newest one
JorgePinto, thank you very much for the clarification and contribution, you have had a good job and it is appreciated. We all enjoyed you and your wonderful work. Now, what a cage of rat children and rancid pipis that gather around here, I am amazed by the comments that have been dedicated to me. Wow, I would be incapable of saying such words to someone with so much anger, hatred and resentment, they have made me remember why I left these types of forums. Poor people, honestly, what it must be like to put up with them every day... Anyway, thank you very much for everything, man. This was the car my father had and returning to it is a pleasure. A hug. thats what the dude said in ENGRISH we aint rats --- Post updated --- JorgePinto you better not have helped him! its fine if u paid for the game for him but still DFTFTRJSDRRSTAQ@$^B$RSEHRZ%DREFHSZTERTHY
Well, to be fair, we just jumped on them for having a pirated version. It isn't ethical to pirate games, yes, but y'know... what we (as a community) just did wasn't really ethical, either.
Takes me back to when ivan lochnov or whatever his name was, exposed himself by pirating the game on the Community Screenshots thread a while back.
is there any possibility of a rhd interior to accompany this? along with panelled rear windows for the likes of the XAD variant. that or UK related editions like the aztec and mardi gras
Check the rear quarter window options, that was added a while ago with the XAD itself (I edited the main post to make more clear the option is there) Now, RHD is a bit of an issue, since mirroring the vast amount of parts would be definitely a pain...an option I don't discard completely at least, is MAYBE doing a special UK version or two, and just do the needed parts for those, thus keep the amount of parts and the overall file size low, but as always, no promises on anything right now.
After using the updated 205 mod for a few days, I have to say that the reworked suspension is worthy of being one of the main highlights of said update. Compared to the initial release, the difference in handling is night and day. The overhauled underbody makes it even better. Speaking of which, I did stumble across a minor issue with some of the spare wheels. Some of the options spawn without a spare tire, leaving just the rim. These are the Rallye (shown below), DTurbo, Indiana, and the Base spare wheel options. The rest of the options have the tire and rim combined. And I hate to sound like a broken record, but the aforementioned steel wheels I reported last month (i.e. Rallye, Base and its Indiana counterpart) are a tad offset and not centered again... And yes, I am referring to the steel wheels that were originally the basic set prior to the recent major update. Not sure why I keep noticing this small discrepancy Still, I wouldn't let these oversights dull the overall experience. I'm sure they will be fixed relatively quickly for a hotfix
Thank you Dennis definitely did magic with his contribution to the mod, I was hoping for plain improvement, but he went to the next level all together. Now, about those issues... -Yes, you're right about the spares (just to confirm it's not you or something like that) I'm not sure what happened here since I check every config to adjust the tires and rims for every spare, and in fact I remember the Rallye had its rim too high, clipping the car's floor, and of course it means I remember the tire was placed correctly, just the rim was off. Somehow, the old tire name was in the files, so long story short, I just fixed the names, and the tires are back, easy fix thankfully. -I spent a lot of time adjusting wheels, both rims and tires on their own to make sure they were finally right, but yet again, you were right here too, but the thing is, those rims were centered perfectly, the issue was...they were deformed. Not 100% rounded, so thankfull the fix was easy too, I just deleted 3/4 of the rim, after checking the quarter left was OK, and then just mirrored that on the other axis, result is the rims are now actually rounded, I checked the old and new models, and could notice a gap in the old ones, and in the game, it also shows, so yet again long story short, the rims are also fixed Hopefully with this couple of fixes, wheels are good to go for good for the foreseeable future! Also fixed a couple of other things (just noticed the inner wheel arches in the front would clip through the fenders under sudden acceleration) And well...while I'm at it, I guess I can confirm something (didn't want to confirm anything before just in case I encountered issues)
I found an issue that is perhaps related to the new suspension, whenever I stop the car on a hill with the parking brake enable, the rear of the car starts to bounce, causing the car to go down the hill.
