Could you make a left hand drive too? I appreciate the work you did, but i'm confused if i drive a RHD car. This design is still the best i ever saw in my entire life. cant wait to drive it
Left wheel drive? Wouldn't that just drive in a circle all the time? If you meant having the steering wheel on the other side, there are no plans for that. You will need to mod that yourself.
You know what, good. Its good that you are confused. You can be the payback for all these years I've had to drive left hand drive cars in games and have completely screwed over spatial awareness. Its your turn.
Why cant you both just drive McLaren F1s! then you will both be happy. (or just use third person camera)
Christmas/New Years break is over. Time to get this project back in motion. jBeam update: Not much to report. Chassis is still the prime focus. Still experimenting and finding ways to make it stiffer whilst trying to keep the node count within tolerance. Also, reopened the car's blend file and realized something. The rear-end lacked the fluidity of the rest of the car. I felt I could do better. So it went under the knife... Yeah or nah? Remember, feedback is welcomed.
New rear end just looks so much more aggressive and "dirty". Dirty as in playing dirty rather than model being bad of course. Love it, much better!
It looks really great! Maybe you can make multiple options, the previous version looks a bit like a 'normal' version, the last one a bit like a special, faster edition. And I was thinking, are you still planning on making a boxed engine 'frame'? A tubular spaceframe for the engine bay (which can tear of the passenger cell during a severe crash) would look great, especially with those horizontal coilovers.
Thanks! I gave that some thought. Options are always nice, but I will probably end up ditching it in favor of the more aggressive look. All the pipes and wings I've included so far fit nicely as well. I'll see how things go. Polycount permitting, can't see why not?
I prefer the new look over the old one, so if only one model can make it I'll stick to the new one. Although, you can make all those added pipes and wings options as well That should look great The lay-out of the Aventador is a clear example, but the finish of any Pagani engine bay has my favorite. (look at all those hinges! ) Using blender, I think 8 vertices and a edge split modifier were enough to create smooth tubes. That's not that much.
Yess!! Amazing job on both of the rear versions, I aggree with ARB with the option of having like a stock sport version as the first model and the 2nt model as more of a racing version and maybe add other things like sideskirts and front splitter and a GT wing etc after the main version is finished. But again good luck, if this ever gets in game in the next 2 years lol
Good luck man! cant wait to test it on the road. - - - Updated - - - Please make sure it has great traction. THX!
Hell yeah! Have you considered putting a rear diffuser underneath the exhaust? In my opinion the rear end looks a little too open, so maybe that would help to close it back up a little bit while maintaining the awesome shape you have there.
They are options already. All separate meshes. Looks nice. Could be interesting seeing how it's going to fit with that air intake taking up all the space above the engine. The race diffuser I did ages ago fits like a glove in the open section below the exhaust, but it's too big for a road car so I could trim a bit off that and have a matching pair. One for the road and one for the track.
I love the car, like omg! And this: http://static.pagenstecher.de/uploads/8/8a/8ae/8aee/BA_STARZZ_MBP-UCT-Schrift-RAL-Grn_05_kl.jpg Haha, if your going to make multiple rim choices.. These are by far my favourite rims, except the Volk Rays (That rim is God). Keep up the good work, wish i could model myself considering i consider myself very creative.. But it only get stucked in my head, or half way down on a paper xd
Looks very cool! Hope this get's finished soon because it's very cool! I wish you luck with this project
