    just drag and drop the map and nostalgia folder into the mod folder ?

    Just drop fairhaven.zip into mods/levels. Don't know if it actually matters if mods get put into levels or vehicles, versus putting them just in the mod parent directory.

    It's not that bad, but it's lower compared to vanilla maps, some of which already are below normal.

    For me it feels that the higher performance tires, the less grip you have. Racing slicks are almost aquaplaning in certain spots.

    I'd say it's about the same as WCUSA, at least on my mid-tier gaming laptop (with RTX3060).

    For me it's just a little big laggier than WCUSA on my GTX 1660 Ti 6GB and Ryzen 7 5700X, I play on max settings except I have dynamic reflections set to about half quality and a refresh rate of 1.

    WCUSA's Redwood Forest tanks my FPS though.

    I have played this map a lot today and while I haven't played the original MW2012 game, this is a very fun map to play on. It's fun to explore, the gas stations are a nice touch and I loved finding the billboards, tho a way to see which ones you smashed or not would be nice. The wet roads thing took a bit of gettiing used to, but it makes the map prettier and AWD drifts fun. My main complaint would be to clean up the collisions in some of the jumps as cars tend to get stuck on some random planks or rails.

    For now, I will leave the map as it is and gather feedback. With the release of Paradise port I might adjust this map accordingly, due to its size I don't want to spam too many updates.

    As for grip comparison, for anyone who understands differences, I will post a small table with grip settings in a few groundmodels to give you a better understanding of how small the difference is.

    that doesnt matter, just mods folder will work, any futher foldering in my experience doesnt do much but organization

    Ah okay, well it works fine without traffic. Also, is there a way to select a certain song to play instead of having to constantly turn on and off the radio until you find the one you want?

    Are the roads really that bad? I've been driving around for a couple of hours and it seemed ok. Or am I just not sending it hard enough?

    It doesnt work tho.

    there is no "mods" folder. theres only a levels folder

    After you download the mod, go to C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\BeamNG.drive\0.31\mods
    Put the ZIP file there.
    Done.

    Maybe the roads are just too curved, but there are points where you cannot stay in your lane driving the speed limit lol, and the understeer assistant just gives up

    You can press B to skip the song, just like in an original game.

    Both Paradise and Hot Pursuit ports are based on PC remasters. In the case of Paradise I will also port some features like speedcameras from very early Xbox 360 builds.
    With Hot Pursuit, I based the port on Remaster with pre-remaster textures that are higher quality than the actual remaster (see this link).
