The Rules are, that the posts have to do with problems that arise ONLY at high resolutions( 1440p and above). This thread is not about performance but for problems like the size of numbers being to small to read. Pictures and screen shots of the game are allowed. This is my first thread and suggestions and feedback are welcome.

    Please don't use insults.

I have the problem that at 4k, the size of the numbers in the performance graph and the fps counter extremely small are. I tested all the resolution settings for Ui and nothing changed anything.

This is what it looks like from further away.

Does anyone know of a setting to change the size of these numbers? Or maybe a ui app that shows the current fps.

Intel ARC is very inconsistent and experimental with BeamNG at the moment. This is especially true with OpenGL, and DirectX.
Does this issue happen in the Vulkan renderer?

I don't think that it has anything to do with the a770 sine it was the same withe the 1660ti and the 4070 ti.

If you haven't already, you should still run the Vulkan renderer, it's a quick and easy thing to do. I don't know much about ARC GPU's.

Is your monitor set to 4k (3840x2160) in windows settings?

The Problem is that the Numbers have the same amount of pixels no matter what the screen resolution is. upload_2024-2-13_0-45-9.png

The issue is that there isn't a setting for the sice of the fps metrics and performance graph. The numbers are always the same pixels hight and width no matter the pixeldensity

Does this problem happen in safe mode? If the problem still persists in safe mode, the issue is most likely not with the game.

The size of the texts looks normal to me from your pictures, at least when playing on a monitor. Is this a TV? Of course with a TV you sit further away.

These pictures are not about the text, they are about the fps metric and performance graph.

In the top left corner of the screen you can see the fps metrics, you open them with control+f. The pictures show that this metric gets harder and harder to read, the higher the screen resolution gets.

Yes, I was referring to those. They are just as tiny at other resolutions.

You can probably find an external FPS counter for Intel ARC. Nvidia and AMD have their own FPS counters.

Or you could use steams built in FPS counter.

I know, but I would like to only use beamng and not have to let other applications suck away cpu processing power.

I can get a better experience with extra applications, but in my opinion is that the same thing as, back in the day, the traffic mod. Yes I can have traffic even if it is just a mod but it cleaner if I don't have to download and start every single detail.

I know that this is not an essential part of beamng but I would still like to see a setting like the resolution setting for the ui(which changes the size independentl from the screen resolution).

I agree, we should have a setting to change the FPS counter size. You should post a thread here with your suggestion.
