Early Experimental Preview of Career Concept

I use a 1920x1080 screen in HD and it works, but I would like the option to make your own custom UI setups in addition to the in-game ones.

Also, the UI scale problems could (Possibly) be solved by a career mode UI scale slider, somewhere.

 

1080 is fine, it’s the standard, and the resolution they use for reference

This is the stuff that I want to see implemented in later versions

 

I have problems with bumper or other parts that fall under/inside car, and wheels can't roll or not touch ground and I must go to garage to fix (and lost all cargo)… Can you add "node catcher" to career (like in free roam), but only from first person view, that can help remove bumper that under wheel or other parts.
Also, there is cool mode beam regenerator, it can be implemented inside garage, for example player will regenerate node manually to working/visual fidelity state. It can be looks like analog when car bend after accident. Of course for using this tool player pay money

 

One of the most exciting/worrying moments of car hunts is inspecting a car to weigh the risks of purchasing. I’d love to see a test drive option added where players can see their dash, listen to brakes/engine,exhaust,etc., and possibly even inspect the oil/coolant levels if the car has x, y, or z that prevents it from starting. Maybe excessive but I think it’d make car hunting and flipping lots of fun.

A bit off topic but I’ve always wanted to jack my car up and replace my tyre with a donut in-game. Even if it’s a UI app that pops up near the popped wheel to swap it if I a spare is available

 

It would be cool to be able to buy parts in groups, so when you buy a widebody kit, you buy the sideskirts, bumpers, and other stuff together, rather than buying each component seperately

 

Another example would be an engine swap kid, with the engine, a radiator if the engine uses a different radiator slot, cut bodypanels if nesisarry, and oter stuff

 

Is there a set limit to how far away you can go from the parking spot that it was in?

 

It's a 2 minute timer. You can take the car as further as you'd like in those 2 minutes and you'll be returned to the starting spot at the end of the timer or if you chose to end the test drive earlier.

 

I think someone, probably @Musicman27 mentioned wanting to be able to buy a house in career mode, and krallopian replied in the affirmative, I hope that openable garage doors for the houses in the wcusa suburb.

 

I don't think I said it first, (or at all) but it would be a welcome addition.

I know that this doesn't fully relate to career mode, but I think in general, vehicle reliability should be a big aspect of using and buying cars. Maybe the 4.4 in the Wendover has issues with cracking the engine block, maybe the V6 in the later Pessima has valve-train lubrication issues. On the other hand, the 1.6 in the early Pessima is nearly indestructible. A mechanic like this would be an extremely welcome aspect to the game

I just had an idea: Scam private sales, you see a listing for a covet Mr turbo but when you go to pick it up, it’s a 1.5 dxi with some cardboard taped to the side to make it look somewhat like a Mr turbo.

 

Or upbagded cars: Sure dude I totally have a Bastion Battlehawk, wym

 

or "yeah, the driveshaft is broken so youll have to tow it" gets home and the whole engine is missing.
