I am currently working on a snowmobile! I started making this because in my opinion, there should be more winter stuff in beamng. I think that a snowmobile to go with the new arctic circle map(which I love) would be nice, but I started this before that, when I saw Camodo Gaming's video on the downhill snow map.

I would love some feedback on what to do, and on how to fix some issues. This mod is not going to be released soon, maybe in a month or two.(I am not quick and don't have much experience with beamng coding and jbeam.) I have the main body and mesh in, the engine and exhaust in but no mesh for those, as they are imported from automation for now. I have the suspension, handles, and skis as one part, but they are causing me some issues right now, I will put pictures down below.

My next goal for after the suspension is fixed and functioning, is to add a mesh for the suspension, then a mesh for the engine and exhaust. I have left the track as the last thing to do, before I add smaller things such as more engine options and customizations.

I have permission from Agenty to use his tracks from his tracked wydra mod.(Which I love) I am going to add a rail and slide node system to the track when I make it, so that it doesn't slide off. I am planning to add better textures and coloring later, right now it is just so you can see the basic plan.

If anyone has any ideas of how to fix some issues, and on what to add in the future, I would love to see it! I will try to respond to questions and comments when I can, but as I am in school and have intermittent internet access during my coding hours, it may take me some time.

    UPDATE 1:
I have the suspension jbeam in a semi functioning form, where it no longer destroys the body, and where both the handle bars and skis have functioning steering! There will still be lots of tuning to do later, but for now I am going to move on to making the mesh/models for the suspension, engine, exhaust, and fuel tank. After that, it will be time for the biggest challenge, the track!

    UPDATE 2:
Essentially restarted, it has been a while since I did anything with this, and after some other projects I have learned ALOT, about both jbeam and 3d modeling, so the model has been improved with more smooth looking parts, and the jbeam has been redone so it is alot better now, with realistic weight, I am not working solely on this. I am only really doing work on this when I have time and motivation inbetween other projects I am doing. I will soon though, restart work on the new suspension, handlebars, engine, exhaust. Once I have those in and working how I would like them to, I can start on the tracks!

The release is going to be a bit. I can't really speed this up without another jbeam coder to help. There will be a paid early access release, which i know people dont like, but I do need money, but I still need to finish the track and powertrain before that happens. After the paid release the free full version will be released some time after, because once I get it functional, I will be adding things like functioning lights, more engines, and color customizations.
