New People

Is anyone concerned with the amount of new people and the higher traffic that this website will be getting if a tech demo/alpha is released? Personally I wouldn't mind a larger community but people have different opinions what do you guys think?

 

Well surely the website will be flooded with noobs. Some will be reasonable and intelligent, and some will be dumber than a fucking door asking shit like "OMG MAEK DIS IN GTAV". But it's all part of the process and it'll happen anyway, you just have to know how to deal with it.

I found it, it's pretty funny, you imagined playing forza 5 with physics as his, the game would be unplayable! MDR

I disagree. Forza Motorsports would be awesome with proper damage

 

It is true that forza 5 would be good with a little more damage, but it would have more sense to play, because it is a racing games, the car would be demolished after each out of the corner
So this is to demolish the car that beamNg is create

 

Or....you can learn how to properly drive a car.
If you really drove a car smashing it and totaling repairs like that (for a racing team), you'd most likely be out.
Think of rallies and long races where the teams have to repair the cars, if the repairs are too much they will lose a lot of time.

You basically said you want forza to be an arcade game, so it's normal that it doesn't have damage.

 

I want this game to have as big of a community as it can. Even if there are noobs. I want this game to be as successful as possible.

 

BeamNG and Rigs of Rods aren't just about damage you know? There's a driving part too, which is about a million times more realistic than Forza and Gran Turismo combined, since RoR and BeamNG are using proper suspension geometry, and Forza and Gran Turismo aren't anywhere close to that...

 

I notice more people joining when the drive tab was put up. In other words the possible game release. I think the game should be downloadable for people who actually gave a f*** about the game progress and not the release date. I feel as if the noobies are like that one guy in the group that's working on a project that blows it off and puts no work it to it, but jumps in when it's near completion or done. Wow that was the longest comment I've ever wrote.

The only thing I would have a hard time with is the 1,000s of topics being created everyday.
I make sure to check out each & every topic currently (except some in the Off-topic like PC Specs, post your wallpaper topics).
But I'm not sure if I would want to see a topic named "Maek dis n da GTA V. OMG itz wold be awesomz!!" (oh god, it took me like 2 mins just to write such an idiotic line )

 

I make sure to check EVERY thread in the What's New tab.
But if this place turns into a freaking GTAV forums with 100 threads every day then screw that!

 

There are damage levels on the forza games like Limited, Dynamic, and Simulation. Limited will be scratches and a few dents, Dynamic will be losing doors and bigger dents, and simulation is full BeamNG physics. That would be awesome.

 

I've been a fan of RoR since forever and have been watching this site month after month but strangely i didnt actually register on here till today lol
