I'd love a Rolls-Royce equivalent, like a Phantom or Cullinan. High-end boat cars are something we're missing.
Saw some talking about an Ibishu luxury subsidiary, so I just found a name for it: Luxuriae. Genitive form of "Luxuria", Latin for "Luxury" (no shit Sherlock)! --- Post updated --- Exactly. Either modern or classic (the Burnside Bacchus is one of my deepest desires), high-end boats are always great to exist!
Yes, even a 80s Bentley or something would be sweet. A mid-range luxury car like a Caddy from that era as well, perhaps a notch above the Wendover. Or a 2000s ETK "S-Class" with Maybach (Rennspecht?) variants.
If it's not a 200BX remaster its a Silvia Unless it is a 200BX remaster in the form of a Silvia Unlikely that it's a German car, but it could pass as an ETK from some angles.
Yeah exactly, I never reallly got the hype of JDM cars. Sure, some of them are cool, but even those aren't too special on the grand scheme of things. And to many "car enthusiasts" JDM basically means Mk4 Supra, R34 Skyline, or FD RX7, which aren't even JDM strictly speaking, while they don't realize most JDM cars are basically fwd econoboxes with automatic gearboxes. The reason I like BeamNG is because they included many cars that are not exactly common in your avarage car game, like the LeGran, Wendover, Piccolina, Grand Marshall, Stambecco, Lansdale etc. I hope the new car will be no exception in this regard, though I'm not complaining either way.
Make a luxury car and call it "luxury"... i haven't seen such creativity in a name since Autobello dropped I'm just joking around ofc, not being mean
Yeees, a classic big British barge full of wood, leather and chrome, with a larger-than-life V8 or V12 and a Bruckell 3-Speed Automatic would be great! As for a Full-Size FWD Luxury Sedan, as competition to the Gavril Grand Marshal, Soliad can have this role because the transverse V6/V8 powertrains (plus a 5.0 V8 comprised of two 2.5 I4s) and the Wendover platform are already available. A modern, current, latest-tech German F-Segment Luxury Sedan is also missing and there's no one better than ETK to have this model. The powertrains (3.0 Turbodiesel I6, 3.0 Turbocharged I6, 4.4 Twin-Turbocharged V8 along with a flagship Twin-Turbocharged V12 of course, all complete with the 8-Speed Automatic) are already available, complete with their numerous ECU options and the Carbon-Ceramic Brakes and Sport Plus 2R Tires for the ttSport+ and Rennspecht variants. There's a lot of meat here! --- Post updated --- Nah, we're just having some fun! Joking aside though, the name sounds exotic enough within its simplicity, I believe. The Japanese have a love affair with Italian/Latin names for their car models after all (Toyota Altezza, Toyota Sera, Daihatsu Cuore, Mazda Famiglia, Mazda Millennia, Honda Concerto and Nissan Maxima, just to name a few) and, when you get the fact that "LEXUS" is an abbreviation for "Luxury EXport for the United States" out of the way for a moment, you'll see that it also sounds quite Latin too! Autobello is alright, brings some dolce vita vibes, if you don't consider the Stambecco! Edit: Shite, I forgot the Pessima! It already is a Latin name in the game!
Maybe a Japanese-European car? I mean, around the early 90s, Honda and Rover had a partnership. Maybe we can imagine a British coupe with Ibishu mechanical components.
If it’s a new car, I’m hoping this will just be a Japanese car and not some Rover 800/Honda Legend concoction. If we’re going to get a British car in the future, it better be a v12 grand tourer like an AM DB9 or a 4 cylinder roadster like an MGB.
I believe it would be very interesting to see an Anglo-Japanese captive import but an English Sports Car would be great too. Something like an Austin-Healey Sprite and/or a TVR/AC Cobra would be nice, after all we have the classic 1.6 SOHC/DOHC I4s of the Miramar for the former and the classic Gavril 291ci (or 4.8l) 'Fleet-Power' V8 for the latter!
Honestly at this point I'd take any British car. I guess the Widgeon is based on a British car, but it's still Japanese in lore. I'm no Brit, but when I went to the UK for the first time last month, the 2 most common British marques I saw were definetely Land/Range Rovers, and new MGs which are more Chinese than British I guess, but I've seen far more than I do here in Hungary (granted, less people can afford new cars here, but MGs are pretty cheap). And I've seen more Land/Range Rovers in a single Sainsbury's parking lot than I did in Hungary during the entirity of 2023 lol.
