After months and months and months of hard work I am happy to share something I wanted to drive in this game for a long time, The Hoonitruck! Some features include: Openable doors and hood 117 selectable parts 139 separate models ~1100 triangles ~800hp ~4200 lbs multiple Transmissions Tons of custom Jbeams compatible with other 5lug wheels/tires Extra custom parts! This is my first vehicle mod that I made from scratch. Over a hundred seperate models and tons of custom Jbeams.. All the Jbeams have been worked to make the crashes look as game friendly as possible, and I tried to give it similar speed to its real-life counterpart. I might never do a mod like this again lol, big shoutout to the BeamNG devs for the work they do, its not easy There are parts I made that aren't used in any configs so dig around if you want. You can even strip it down and drive it with just the tube-frame like its a dune buggy, its up to you. Mod includes 5 configs, including colorable and cleaned versions. Extra parts like differentials and transfer cases. A Tonneau cover, Camper Shell and tailgate net, and all body parts are removable. Nice work! It looks strangely different/alien to me compared to what I've seen from assetto corsa etc. mods, was it modeled from the ground up? With BNG's non-uniform power-based throttle curves, this could actually perhaps be much easier to control for me. Looking forward to give this a try! edit: Starter motor doesn't work, maybe the engine friction is set too high / low end RPM torque is too low? (If you define low end RPM too early and don't set custom starter motor settings, the starter motor won't have enough torque to reach a high enough RPM for the engine to sustain itself) Ok turns out the engine has an issue locking up when it turns off. I also have a missing texture issue on the windscreen/rear window btw
Holy crap! Very Very nice. I mean wow! One question. Is the driver camera supposed to shake that much. Its pretty reasistic for a race car but I have not seen it before. Was that on purpose?
No matter what, the truck pulls to the right for some reason. Also when crashing it, the camera shakes a lot?

The issue with engine locking up on shutdown is caused by excessive base friction. In the engine JBEAM file the base friction is set to 30 Nm. After reducing it slightly, to 28 Nm, the engine could be restarted without issues. If you install the turbo, the base friction of the engine will have to be reduced a bit more to achieve the same effect.

Idk what you mean, when i load it up its running already. I know the manual transmissions have problems running in arcade gearmode after you spin out because the clutch isnt pressed. Try the other transmission, its automatic. I’ll look into it.
with controls ion the neutral position it always steers to the right without force feedback. I tried the config trimming and it had no effect either It could be a result of engine torque though Also regarding the shaky camera problem, I get that you like it but you should probably include parameters for the camera beams that the player can adjust by themselves
