Update Speculation thread

I'm honestly not that bothered about new vehicles. What I really want to see is some new a.i that's capable of actual races or derbies. Being able to choose between full-contact last-car standing races or a normal race. It would honestly take the game to another level I think.

 

Oh cool, they're updating the 200BX. Hopefully they will do a better job at revising the interior by having different interior door panels (some with electric & some with manual) as having the top trim level with manual windows doesn't seem right.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little disappointed that after 10 YEARS there still hasn't been a British car added. It seems to be the only major car-producing country that isn't represented at all in the base game

An 1980s Rolls Royce or something like that would be cool.

So Sunburst needs love sure. But least its not forgotten. ( like Burnside/miramar )
How ever it does need a remake. I think at this point even a refresh ( like what the ETK got ) wont even cut it.

The engine mesh looks bad as does inside of it. While in 2014 the fact you could remove the radio was awesome. Even that feels somewhat basic compered with other cars, This thing is so old you even have missing textures when you remove door cards/panels.

While am not mocking it ( i love the Burst as i call it ) it is like a older Mazda 3 ( kinda )

I think a hatch/coupe would be sweet. I remember Gabester saying cars will only have 1 body style ( not anymore )

I hope gabester is going well. Seeing his not been here in a very very very long time, ( 2022 )

OT, I think base models should have a I4. Mid should have boxter and high end the Flat 6 yes flat 6 ,
As it is i do enjoy it. BUT it needs love.

For new car. I really dont care if its JDM/US/Euro.
I am just happy we getting my best kind of car. a COUPE ( other then sedan/wagon )
I love coupes i even had a CLK till jan 24 when i had to sell it.

SO i think she will have a inline-6.
But for base i hope a 200BX i4 ( if that gets a remaster ) with it
And a V8 Be it factory or not.

I think if euro i hope a v12 gets dropped into it
As well as mid range v8s and base i6.

To think of it. new car may have a Rotary ( didnt one of the i4- engine sounds that is unused sound like a Rotary? )
Getting jc cosmo Vibes now. Only the car in game seems bigger to me i dunno.


As for 200BX if that gets remastered with the new car. I will be over the moon. While the 200bx is still a enjoyable car to use ( very much so ) some love for it will be great.

A psycho V8 swap will be cool as.
As well as more i4s for it.
1.6 base 1.8 and 2.0 mid range. And 2.2/2.4 High end.
MAYBE a Rotary
And maybe a convertible as well as the hatch. and Notch back.
RHD/LHD Ect.

maybe a demo derby version with welded doors. ( not all can be drift kings )

Nope, we already have the Covet and it's much better, even if it is a fictional vehicle lol!
Something like the Mini is a much more fitting representative, along with a big barge full of wood/leather/chrome and with a Hydragas suspension, a classic small soft-top roadster like the Austin-Healey Bugeye Sprite, a "working class supercar" like TVRs (we have the classic Gavril 291ci 'Fleet-Power' V8 for that after all), a unique manual Hypercar like the T.50 (but that requires revisions to the aero model), a modern luxury off roader and a modern Grand Tourer (for the latter two, we have the 8-Speed Automatic)! These are the best representatives!

Edit: I forgot about a modern, cheap, light mid-engined sports car, we have the Ibishu 1.5/2.0 DOHC I4s for that after all!

Honestly, the remaster I'm looking forward the most to, is that of the Moonhawk. I won't argue that there are cars (*cough* Sunburst, *cough* Miramar) that probably need it more, but I feel like there's a LOT of potential in a new Moonhawk. It' just begging for a 4 door (and hopefully wagon) version, and it'd be a great way to fill out various 70's car niches. The D series is a good example to follow Imo, as it can be configged in so many ways, whilst still being basically one "car".

 

An AI overhaul would also really be needed for a possible race themed update. The Ai is just so incredibly slow, I’m faster in a diesel etk 800 than the ai in a base scintilla around east coast

 

Honestly, it would be fun if you could choose what cars race.
Add cars and choose each one that races.

 

Dont know if this has been said but what if the new car is one car brand, like Ibishu, but was rebadged to be a Hirochi or something?

 

Beam never ever did rebadges, that kind of stuff usually is up to modders and stuff.
