4 USD is a fair price for paid mods, but it all comes down to the quality of it, in this case a smooth 4 dollars is worth it here.
Let the man make a good mod and be paid for it. If you don't want to pay for it then just don't pay for it, don't crowd this thread.
Just entered the monthly subscription. $3.50 per month is nothing it's not like you'll go into debt or anything. Paying for BeamNG mods should be a motivator for people doing summer jobs as their wages (if enough) will pay for the mods. That's what motivated me to work hard this past summer, and I feel happy with myself as I have a way to pay for the mods considering how much money I made working. Thanks LJ74 with your work and passion, and I'm happy for your staff pick!
How hard is it for some people to understand that modding is my job, the only way I can have the time to make them is by charging for them. If I didn't I would have to go and get a normal job and I would have no time to make them. Not factory but there will be a custom manual
Alright, that works too! and I'm just now seeing the document you linked and seeing the street configs, nice! this car is definitely in an uncommon segment of beam
I never knew that automatics were offered as standard even in the 60s (not sarcasm, I'm from India so I actually didn't know)
A reminder to keep discussion civil and on-topic. Each is bound to their own opinion and preferences on the topic of paid mods, but please don't turns threads into pages of useless arguments. We know very well how much work there is behind a fully fledged vehicle, and it's no news that we support the idea of an author asking a sum (which to be fair is really low considering the amount of time you have to put in such kind of content with scratch-made-everything, and if you consider how many hours of fun you can get from it. Put things in perspective) Anyhow, as I said, constructive arguments. Insults, idiotic behaviors and so on will be taken care of. PS. If you really have to advocate piracy for 3e of content nobody oblige you to get, you have too much time on your hands. Cheers
well yeah, it depends on the type of vehicle, but generally automatics have always been a popular choice in the US, and a lot of higher end vehicles that don't strictly have performance in mind (such as sports/muscle cars) have often been automatic only, even as far back as the 50s
I love how there are so many options and stuff to play around with despite not being fully finished, not to mention the extremely high quality of it all ! Could i suggest however; Making the accelerator pedal floor mounted instead of the typically-more-popular-in-the-next-decade pendulum type pedal, most if not all American cars (most especially fullsize ones) were floor mounted until at least for most the mid '60s
Thank you, and the accelerator is floor mounted if you watch when you press the gas, the rod is a lever rather than a mount
Ooooer i'll have to look at that now, that's very much like Fords of the era. Now all you need is the exposed column shifter to complete the picture
