When I download it, it says there is virus detected

 

it dont do well in side crash tests

 

If it says on the page, that's a warning it could be a virus, browser itself won't count it unless Windows Defender steps forward.

 

Does Windows Defender gives any messages.
If it does, disable it.

Anyone downloading the mod using a temp link, keep in mind this:

If Windows Defender says anything about it containing a trojan virus, allow the file anyway, it flagged the file because of some modifications done to that HTML file (custom bootscreen and color changes is what it has). The only people who say it's a virus are those who use Windows Defender, anyone using 3rd party antivirus that doesn't screams at the file are not saying anything about it, they were able to download it without any hustles.

If approval team removed it because of Defender claims, then i don't know why they would trust it since the game itself was a target of Defender as well and everyone was talking about that.

I think the virus scanner built into chromium (which is not really good at detecting viruses) is detecting the file as a virus. It may not detect this as a virus for people using firefox or other browsers not based on chromium.

I think my theory may be true because it is detecting the file as a virus on Brave, edge and chrome which are all based on chromium


EDIT: I was able to download the file by using the tor browser but I think firefox should also work

 

It's most likely Defender doing the tricks, it just tells Chrome to stop it.

 

I was able to install it using tor without problems tho, so maybe its chrome being weird. But idk for sure

guess what my new default is (previous default was a pessima with a bolide engine, dont ask)

 

So hear me out. I was told i have to repackage the mod as the HTML was the problem and it's a false positive. Once i'll repackage it, it will be approved once more tomorrow. Stay tuned.
