Why ai won’t take over the world

    Everyone always thinks ai will become evil and take over the world. And it’s represented in movies like this, too. But that’s technically not possible. Let’s start with this: emotions, they let us have feelings. But emotions are a chemical in the body. Which an ai does not have. So that means robots or ai can’t have emotions. Even if they did have all the right stuff to process it, they wouldn’t know how to use it. Ai is just a tool, it can’t have emotions at all. So, you can now sleep worry free if ai taking over the world :)

    This actually seems like an argument for AI to become evil. If the human brain is simply chemicals, then surely it's possible to make a biocomputer out of those same chemicals.

    Perhaps we're safe while the tech innovators are busy focusing on quantum computing, but once they really get going on artificial cells then that could be a different story.
