When i try to start up the B-25 the second the RPM is stable and i have held it (probably) long enough and i release it, the engine's rpm sinks and stalls almost immediately. Not sure why this happens, anybody knows why this happens?
In my early days with BeamNG, I was a keyboard warrior, and though I loved this mod at that time, I felt it was immensely difficult to use. I now sometimes use an Xbox facsimile controller, and this plane is soooooooo enjoyable to fly with it. It takes a light touch, but once you get the hang of it, it's a dream. Thank you, Joelvb for your continued work on this mod!
Édit : Finally I found for those who want to know, you have to download the mod via the internet and not via the repository, and then drag the zip to the mods folder
May I humbly ask for all speeds in the description to be translated in (parenthesis) to KM/H for those of us outside the USA )
Here, I decided to translate the instructions (not the whole thing, just the numbers) Takeoff 100 mph = 160 KM/h Flight speeds to avoid 340 mph (as Joelvb said, don't fly faster than this or it might severely damage the plane) = 547 KM/h 200 mph (don't do sharp maneuvers at this speed, as the plane may sustain damage) = 321 KM/h Landing Reduce power to 20% and when reaching 273 KM/h press N to extend the landing gear and U for extending the flaps to landing position once. This will slow the aircraft down to around 225 KM/h. If airspeed falls below 209 KM/h, press T to increase power, and then G again to resume gliding. Aim to touch down at 177 KM/h. Taxiing Taxiing is accomplished by reducing the rpm to 1000 by pressing acute key below the plus and giving around 5% throttle to keep speed below 50 KM/h, for tight turns it is necessary to increase throttle, try to be gentle as possible and try to avoid long periods of acceleration as the plane reaches high speeds fast. Hope this helps! I know I could've refined this a little more, but I wanted to get it done quickly. Have fun!
Love the new update and the fact it finally fixed the gear colliding with the inside of the gear bay creating the loud collision noise
I really wish you didn't have to press "V" every time now... because unlike most people, I spawn it first then place it high in the air to avoid the taking off part. My experience with ihis mod: Before the update, I removed the engines in the Vehicle Config thus turning the plane into a glider. Then I moved the plane into the air via the map editor, and i could control it pretty well after letting it fall to gain speed. After the update, I removed the engines in the Vehicle Config thus turning the plane into a glider, and now i have barely any control of it al all, even the "arcade version" of it! What happened?! Is there a way to spawn it with the engines already turned on, so i don't have to press "V" every time?
Yes, that's what you have to do now... every time you spawn it. As in, it's not automatically turned on for you. Like, I don't know, the cars in the game. In my opinion, that gets old... fast. You don't have to turn the cars on when you spawn them, because they are already turned on for you when you spawn them. So, why isn't it the same for the plane to make things easier?
Well , my problem problem wasn't to Seat the engines myself. My problem was : how to start the engines
