I know that, but I thought the question was whether the prototype car that comes with the core mod is real or fictional. Due to lack of badges and real life naming it would have been accepted on the repository even if it was based on a real car prototype.
Hey guys, I reinstalled the game after not playing it for a couple months, and had to redownload the mods, and when I got this one, I couldn't drive at all, I was able to start it, and toggle lights, and that's it. The brake, throttle, and steering controls did nothing. I tried a couple things, like clearing cache, made sure I had the latest version of the mod, the key binds are right, verified file integrity, but nothing worked.
This mod is outdated and doesn't work with the latest version of the game. Agent_Y is working on a fix/update but until then it's not going to work
Mine works fine on the latest version. Did you make sure to download the prototype on the respository? And as a last resort, try the mod without anything else installed.
trying to find a 80s chevy caprice in beamng drive anyone know mods i thought this was a 80s chevy caprice
Just want to say thank you for remastering this mod and putting up with all the repeat questions people ask in this thread. You're awesome Agent_Y.
So I got pinged on Discord by one guy who saw a video on Instagram of an irl build that looks like it came from this mod. It had off-road tires, roof rack with spare tire and lights, side steps, even the dashboard looked like the race dash from the mod. I decided to add it as a config as it looks unique compared to all the other offroad versions. I didn't have to add too many custom parts. Bolt-on fender flares using common vanilla materials, modified off-road bumpers with common vanilla lights (similar ones on side steps) and chain, custom hood ornament, vanilla LED roof lights, cut exhaust pipe. The real interesting thing is the engine though. The H-Series turbo surprisingly fit on the LF9 engine without many modifications required. I only had to make the turbine and intercooler smaller and swap the filter for a cone one to fit, then align the exhaust with the default one. I also made the turbo available on gasoline engines for fun. Stage 1-3 for both, that makes a total of 18 intake options for small block V8 engines now (which the vast majority of configs use). Maybe I will make one of the new drag configs turbocharged.
I decided to add some more roof options. Currently sedan only but will do similar for coupe. Metal and vinyl roof like before, rare sunroof variants, even more rare versions of them with solid fillers instead of glass, and a beater vinyl roof that was sitting unfinished but fully textured in the files and I finished it.
I'm not sure yet, maybe if enough people want it I can make them functional, currently they are just decoration
I am very excited that you are taking this revamp on. The sheer number of configs in this pack must be daunting.
To me the number seems about right for Delta 88, for Custom Cruiser obviously it's less as it has just 1 body style (unless you consider the hearse a different one). Will get feedback from beta testers though if it's not too much. I can always get rid of some that are near duplicates with same engine and trim but different transmission and options.
