To me the teaser seems to be a metaphor like making way for the new remastered 200BX, update might be on the horizon though.
I'd say they would use something more experimental and dev specific like node grabber or stuff like they made only for themselves, like that one lava lamp they shown in a teaser a while ago. not crashing a T-sereis in the cars... since they need to work fast a detect and solve problems faster than these stuff
I'm sure they do interaction crash testing. Like crashing a 200bx against a t-series, to make sure it doesn't go through it.
it does, from the image it looks like quite a bit of adjustment, makes me wonder if only 200bx will get the new detailed mirrors in the new update, cuz its probably bit hard to adjust for all current vehicles (might take a bit.)
Yes, but if they do, they'd do such stuff at the end of the work in progress stuff and when everything is finished and it's near the update time, to check for minor bugs or problems that have to be fixed before the update drop, they could also test and fix such stuff in the hotfixes, more necessary stuff should be working right as the update drops
Leeloo tweaks the sun settings (and maybe slight photoshop) for the teasers (older teaser for reference) More sources:
I am 80% sure the next update is going to be career mod based, maybe we are getting new missions for the t-series in the labourer branch or new pickup deliveries that require the t- series ( i really hope so)
It is not usual ANYWHERE to release the update as soon as / the same day you release a teaser, no game dev would do that as far as i know
Remember that one time the update dropped a day or 2 after the teaser? I meant "It is that time" as in they were doing all the minor bugfixing you talked about. The stuff they do just before they release it.
Releasing a teaser usually consists of something the devs are working on, witch means they are still working on some stuff, thus the update is not ready yet, and i dont think any dev team is fast enough to prepare some unfinished stuff shown in a teaser that fast to be able to release the update on the same day of releasing the teaser.
It can be possible that the teaser is an already finished product, just with W.I.P slapped onto it. Leeloo, please confirm or deny that an update is close, this debate will be endless.
It's not endless. It will end as soon as the update drops Also "close" is a variable amount of time, "close" could be 1 day or 1 month!
