Interesting. What makes it unique compared to other locations? Could you maybe offer some unique pictures?
They sometimes implement mods into the game (like the 800 series saloon) So maybe KLJP is being imported as standalone?
yeah there does appear to be quite a few subtle differences, in the teaser the headlight textures, which are notoriously bad on the 200BX, appear to look nicer, so I suspect this is the remastered version, but done in such a way as to resemble the original design of the 200BX as close as possible As I had suspected previously, the 200BX remaster most likely consists of a front end with retractable headlights as seen in the new teaser, as well as a different model featuring a front with fixed lights, as seen in the silhouette render
Woah yes sign me up! Means that kljp may Get broken ( least 200BX ) sadly. Am a little shocked its not a new car given the cycle of updates ( one new car/one remake/master ) I guess the Remaster is in dept. We should have it by April ( time to play mafia 2 and finish GTA 4 ) I Think it will be a remake Due to, New body type ( 2 door notch back ) as well as ALL new front end. I mean it could be a re-freash seeing how they redid the 200BX J-Beam in sep 2023. BUT the 200BX i use Lots and lots. Sad we wont get a inline 6 ( unless long nose versions are going to come ) But my little fun sport coupe is getting re done HELL yes.
It's WIP as it says, pretty much all teasers are. When it's something final we would release it under a different umbrella, as a wallpaper for example. I cannot confirm nor deny that the update is close
From what we've heard from the devs the T-Series remaster was a ton of work, probably more than some cars.
200BX gets just a small retouch (new textures or updated models here and there – note how the headlights still look bad), the teaser with the coupe wasn't about 200BX, and the video uploaded today was only really about the logs, and @Leeloo put the 200BX there just for funsies.
If this is true, then the update might be a "part 2" of the T-Series remaster along with possibly more utility stuffs unlikely though, as we've seen a sports coupe silhouette photo
It's also unlikely because the 200BX we saw getting crushed has amber USDM marker lights on the front bumper. They're barely visible but they're still there. And I'm mentioning them because the 200BX didn't have any marker lights before its remastering, neither amber front ones (as seen in this smashing teaser), nor red rear ones (as seen in the Notchback silhouette teaser a month ago).
I'd like an extension to utah or johnson valley that looks like the wilderness either side of Highway 666 with a dash of Route 66. I drove up a hill on the west side of the middle of 666 (now called 491) the other day. It was 2 feet of snow on the road side but you can see in the distance downhill you were about to enter a hundred miles of desert. It reminded me of the "The Long Road" mod map's transition. There's another dirt/rock/sand road about 15 minutes north of there that would be awesom for rally/rallycross. Every other time I go there I get a flat tire and I'm usually trying my best to just crawl my minivan through there because of how many flats I've gotten on that. In 1.5 miles that road will destroy a Soliad Lansdale.
It could easily be inspired by kljp just like the round lights pre facelift T-Series was inspired by Ryancookie Wentward 5000 truck mod. Maybe the version without pop up lights will be JDM since the pop up lights one appears to be USDM, just like in kljp. I think it’s just the Rexy hood ornament Who says we can’t have both
