WIP Beta released Michigan Police Skin Pack v2.0

This is the official discussion thread for my mod "Michigan Police Skin Pack"
This mod intails a skin pack for Maxie's Crown Victoria involving Michigan State Police skins & a skin for every county sheriff crown vic in Michigan. These skins themselves are realistic, high quality & based off of an image of a real patrol car of each respective county!​

I'm working 8am-5pm most days, so it is slow, but luckily it only takes about 1 hour for 1 skin and all of its files.

I noticed that there are issues with some skins, like the Allegan county skin, where the `SHERIFF` is cut off at the R. That is my mistake, and I will be fixing it soon along with other skin errors & I'll be creating more skins too of course.

 

Currently working on the next batch of new skins, and skin improvents of the current ones. I'll plan for this update to be pushed for approval on April 10th, so look forward to that!

 

As a resident of Michigan myself love this mod, let me know if you need any examples of Genesee or Lapeer County Vehicles, see them quite regularly

Yeah, I've always wanted a Michigan state/county skin pack for the vic ever since I found the mod. I'm glad other people like it too.

 

Benzie, Berrien, Branch & Calhoun county cars have been completed so far, they will be in the Apr 10th update along with others I make until then. Enjoy some awesome previews

 

An MSP Track Car & an old MSP config will also be added to the list.

 

Updated the MSP file names, and got the Beta MSP white, black and training course skins/configs completed!

An old config will be added too as said earlier, it will be almost like the current blue state car, just with a rotor beacon (and maybe a few more changes too).

 

I cannot seem to find any good side and/or rear profile of the following county Crown Vic's. If anyone has/can get a reference image please let me know (most places probably don't have the vics anymore, but maybe someone has some pictures?)

- Antrim county, Baraga county, Barry county & Bay county so far.

 

The old MSP vic has been made now, looks nice and is accurate to the prompt.

Also, please note, that with the April 10th update (will be later than April 10th as they have to approve the mods' update), there will be updated custom config files/images for each vehicle. Making the custom config files allows me to have the vehicle ready for you to use without the need for customization, and it will allow for each vehicle in this pack to be recognized as a police vehicle by AI traffic (including other AI police). There will be a new text file stating some things about my mod, and the whole thing is getting sort of polished. Going through every skin, file & folder to assure that everything is up to par for you to enjoy!

I'm glad to see Calhoun County as its where something I'm writing is set. Looking forward to Wayne ad Oakland where I live and work respectively. Looks great sir!
