Very good mod, 10 Murano point's, Interior looks nice, Everything works as normal, HQ mod, Just need better thumbnail's plus fixed open doors' Edit: Made better thumbnails for it rn
I have 3 Tahoes and this is my favourite one :] Also I like how "raw" the config names are. Is that the right word?
Probably "bare bones" works for describing it. (i fixed the thumbnails and config names just for personal use as it's easy to do anyway)
I like this mod a lot, up to the point I actually made a Fairhaven Police skin to go with the ported map by Car Killer. While building a config to go with the skin, I noticed that choosing the Dashboard option with the Police Console doesn't actually give you the console, and then takes the steering wheel away. After unpacking the mod and doing a bit of tweaking around the jbeam files (By deleting the references to the D-series steering wheels) I was able to bring back the Tahoe's steering wheel. Plus, after opening up the .dae in Blender, I found the mesh name for the unused police console and forced it in-game by adding it to the dashboard flexbodies group... Only to notice that the materials are broken (Like a lot of configuration options in this mod, such as 4WD), at least the placement is correct. I could probably manually reassign each material that's being declared as missing in the console to something that's already in the materials.json via materialoverride in the jbeam... But it's honestly more than I'm willing to deal with at the moment and it's beyond my skill level as well. Trying to do this was a good learning experience for me though. Poking around this unfinished mod has been pretty interesting as well as frustrating. Materials that aren't properly referenced (Particularly on the police lights), which amounted to a "simple" fix (The fix is simple, but tracking down what caused the mess is another thing, and fixing one thing usually breaks another one). Although last thing I heard Meowbah was busy prepping their paid police pack, I'm hoping they'll come back to this Tahoe, since it needs some loving, way more than what I can give it.
Is there a download for your fixes, also the windshield has a weird reflection issue. --- Post updated --- I wonder if there will ever be a FBI or CIA config and more Police liveries
It's too light, so the gravity is very strange, with the 5.3 engine the acceleration is too fast and there is a lot of wheelspin, this part I have adjusted myself to the weight of the original Tahoe
