Mr.X, are we getting a swing arm suspension anytime soon? The beetle had those, Currently we have AgentY made a swing arm suspension on the bock b50 mod, so he may know how to help Btw, dont replace, add them as a option to those who wants a more usual suspension
I hope I can add them in the future. But suspension stuff is complicated and I wasn't in the mood fiddling around with them yet.
Take your time, its just a suggestion Nekkit said "t is however one of the simplest suspensions to do jbeam wise" so you might want his help too
Another cool detail would be to have these light up when the ignition is "accessories only" just like in real life (not the blinkers btw)
Btw just a momment to take Mr.X for his amazing work Its my favorite mod and many people i know think its the best mod
I don't know why anyone would use this, but I edited the first version of the mod to run without interfering with the newer one, so if anyone wants to compare how this mod has evolved Btw: This won't affect the current version at all, since its another vehicle
This Would be so cool and make the mod one more step to realistic(...and blowing up my computer), than lowering the car would automatically make camber on the rear!
correct! mine is a 1969 Beetle. also the original color of mine was actually "peru green" but it was repainted 3 times over its life before i got it. it has been red, light blue, and the metallic blue its still in now.
mine was never repainted, and according to the vin it's using the original factory paint the most intact part of the paint is the interior doors and under the trunk, only major difference is i have a 73 year model 1600 rather then a slightly more powerful 1600 from 1970 which i have to use the 1973 tuning specs on it, the crazy fact is this car was built the same month i was born !, just recently my speedometer cable broke as soon as i arrived to a car show and it should be here tomorrow on the 12th as of writing, one thing i really can't seem to figure out is my fuel gauge it only reads half when its full and it has a new sending unit and gauge
You should post more about your Beetle in the Automotive section of the forums; that's where you'd have your posts seen by more people and replied to. I have an AMC Eagle, but old USDM VWs are cool, too.
I think it's cool that part of this thread is mod discussion but most of it is just talking about their IRL Beetle
