    sadly, the game crashes while load the map

    the map runs extremely slow, barely hits 10fps
    however when i go in an isolated area like the lantau bridge, the map runs at 30-40 fps
    the extreme fps drop is only near the buildings

    also the water shows no material on it

    please fix these issues

    What are your specs? I recommend to decrease the LOD distance with the CK graphic settings and check if the FPS improves. However, this map was already poorly optimized by the original creator, hundreds of textures and materials and meshes not optimized for a game. What I have done in this port is to divide the massive map into various portions. Obviously, it could be optimized further, but that would mean re-do hundreds of meshes and textures. It would be better to start from scratch.

    The quality of the map in general is meh, and it appears to be a project that has even been abandoned by the original creator. It is more likely that, instead of spending hundreds of hours trying to fix a mediocre map, I will restart the project from scratch on a smaller scale but with better optimization and models. Of course, if anyone is interested and wants to collaborate just DM me

    The map is big but pretty soulless with gray dominating the landscape.
    I have no problem in running the map though (150 fps)

    It looks like the map has finally been updated. Regardless of whether or not you're still working on it I plan to create an addon with completed AI traffic support on existing roads and possibly trees.
