Hi, this is the Stuntarena map known from stuntman (PS2) You can add Ramps under levels-stuntarena-ramps. This is not a conversion, created itself completely. More stuff and ramps are comming.
"Used"......lmao, I still play it on PCSX2 to this day and drive the NPC & unused player cars with Cheat Engine. Awesome map OP, great to see someone out there still interested in Stuntman. You should do London when the arena map is all squared away, or try a car or two.
I actually wanted to create this map about a year or so ago, but I didn't have the patience to do it. You've really outdone yourself! This is a VERY well-made replica of the Stunt Arena. 10/10! Hope to see more stuff from you in the future!
As far as vehicles go, these would be awesome: Both are unused and are only accessible with a PAL AR MAX on a PAL PS2 console or by playing the game on PCSX2 and changing the model addresses with Cheat Engine. Sorry about the crappy quality pics, the game is only stable using an old version of GSDX (3068) in DX9 Software mode.
Does this support experimental ? Got bunch errors. Failed to create resource [levels/stuntarena/meshes/race.dae] all errors because .dae i guess ?
Thanks for positive feedback, lot of bugfixes comes next week for final status of the map. Many new things as stunt car, fire rings, catapult ramp, destructible and stackable car blocks are planned.
It runs on the same engine as Driv3r and Driver Parallel Lines and the only things it has in common with Flatout is the fact you drive cars that can be damaged extensively....and maybe the arena map to a degree. @Ukkone, Weird, it works fine for me on experimental. @Placentapede, by "stunt car" do you mean the '77 Cutlass with "STUNTMAN" on the side, or the '74 Charger with the American flag livery? As far as objects go, the dumpster from "Rozzer Bovver" and the "Sole" fruit boxes would be awesome.
I poured hours upon hours into this game making tracks in the stunt arena, i never thought id see it again in recent games. This is really awesome and super well done, looks exactly like i remember it! The terrain(.ter) file does seam to be either not included or broken though.
Ah got it working, didn't realize that the actual map was inside the main folder. BUT how do i add ramps ? Just paste them in stunarea main folder ?
You have to use the not user friendly in the slightest editor that can be accessed by pressing F11 in windowed mode. Right there in the OP, it reads:
The bug fix are done: -better to drive loops -sounds -final details added DJ_Endman try the new version up in my startpost, maybe your problem is solved LandYacht76 hmm, i thing an own version for stuntcar
the path for the .ter file is incorrect... its saying its located in art/terrains/menu/stuntarena_0.ter, but its located in stuntarena/stuntarena.ter so both the name of the file are incorrect and the path. -edit- nvm that didn't fix it, updating didn't fix it either tried that before this... -edit2- added picture, as you can tell from the original part of my comment I've already tried fixing the problem :L
The crowd cheering is very quiet, also the announcer and that Overseer track "Basstrap" are missing, don't know how much scripting that'd require. Please tell my that "your own version for the stuntcar" isn't some generic exotic sports car.
