biggest question of all here- why do all of the configs have a 4WD transfer case? additionally, something's going on with the jbeam where there's always a constant crunching noise at idle, the skins don't work, and the body shakes/vibrates so much (at least on a superspeedway, aka Motorsports playground, idk if that's down to the surface or the car)) otherwise, great mod- engine sounds good, it handles mostly good on ovals and road courses- 8/10 will keep using it
im really sorry for bumping your thread but with the new 0.32 update i noticed that the Truck and Wendover mods are broken. You cant put a gear in, the game is saying 0 rpm while the engine is actually on.
Noticed this while working on the up-coming update for this mod. It'll be a bit before I can get around to fixing it as im busy with welding classes at the moment. Not to mention I still need to fix a bunch of misc bugs on this as well so it will quite an update.
The D-Series NASCAR Craftsman Truck will make a return soon! This update will not only fix the current issue where the truck is not able to be driven, but also will include lots of new features, setups, and more!
Ok so the update just dropped, are you possibly gonna update the wendover aswell ? I've been trying to drive it but it can't go a bit further. I'm just curious
i am having slight issues with the full race clutch, as it overheats almost immediately, but its great to the this mod well again
Thats because its a true racing clutch. Race car clutches don't get much use besides leaving the pits so they run a very small clutch and flywheel setup that simply isn't meant to be slipped. Its basically like a ON-OFF clutch. use the semi-race clutch instead for a more friendly clutch that can be slipped --- Post updated --- It will likely get a complete overhaul in the future along with the moonhawk
