Okay, so I downloaded this pretty cool highway map, and it works great in the stable release. But when I updated to Experimental and put the map's zip file into the Mods folder, it's not even showing up in the map select screen. I even went into the zip and put the map folder into it's own little "levels" folder like so, (ie. "map.zip"/levels/"mapfolder"/) and deleted the readme.txt that came with it (no helpful info in that .txt file anyway, just the site where the map came from), and the game is still acting like that level isn't even there.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong exactly. But I just want to pose this question to the forum; is there any way, or anything I can do to make a map like the one linked above work in the Experimental release? Or is there nothing I can do for it since it's for a different version?

Some of the stable maps were only ment to work on the stable (like some vehicles) so maybe thats why its not showing up. did you extract it?

Hmm...okay. I guess that explains why a handful of the vehicles I put into my mods folder don't show up either.

And did I extract it? Yes...and no. Here's what I did before I started the game:
    1) I downloaded the map
    2) Went into the zip file with WinRAR and extracted the "highwayd" folder to my desktop
    3) Created a new folder named "levels" inside the zip
    4) removed "highwayd" folder and "readme.txt" that were within the zip
    5) Went into the new "levels" folder I added to the zip, and put in the "highwayd" folder I extracted earlier
    6) Plunked the resulting zip into my /libraries/documents/BeamNG.drive/mods/ folder

I followed those steps for other maps like Leap-of-Death and Brutal Slope, and they work well (save for the dirt roads being black on Leap-of-Death).

No. We'll there might be another way to do it but what's working for me is to into the content/levels/ then place it in the levels folder, the track folder NOT the zip win or wherever file, it may work on the stock maps but you don't need to do that process to get it to work. Any questions just ask me I'm on an iPad so I can't see the exact names of folders ATM.

Just checking back to let y'all know that I got the map working now that I put the "highwayd" folder into the /content/levels/ folder. I also got some other maps to work using the same method. Thanks guys~! ^w^
