spiking issue on the offroad d-series

 

0.32 added a new biometools.json to my map project. What is it good for?

 

Ibishu BX-series street tuned (M) config has an auto shifter in the interior, despite having a manual 5 speed transmission


literally unplayable

 

I tried horns and I have some reports:


Horn 128 and 129 are identical
Horn 13 doesn't exist
Horn 102, 110 and 116 are similar to horn 9
Horn 103 and 104 are identical
Horn 106 and 107 are identical
Horn 120 and 121 are identical

Is this normal? @Leeloo

I suggest you some horns If you will fix or change one day, I hope I did a good thing for Beamng!

 

Something about the Canyon King Miramar (fantastic name btw ): it should have the Race Exhaust by default because it helps balance the exhaling of the 1.6 DOHC engine with the direct inhaling the Side Draft Carburetors offer. Plus, drifting also means higher RPMs (and therefore higher temperatures) while trying to move forward, so the standard Exhaust wouldn't be able to cope with this use after some time.

 

Also, Horn 115 doesn't seem to be looping correctly.

 

Ibishu BX-series at around 17 psi in both stage 2 and stage 3 turbos when fully spooled up a turbo flutter sound is spammed

 

In career mode I feel like the JDM cars should be sold through an import dealer, I think it would make more sense.

 

Some minor notes about the remade Bastion Drift variant: its title says it has a Manual (M) but it has a Sequential (with a Sequential Shifter too, which is very nice).
Also, about the Hotlap Special, it should have the Race Quad Exit Exhaust and the Ultra High Performance Radiator (the Drift variant has both) because it truly needs these parts, with its supercharged power.
And both these variants should have their door panels removed because they're meant for racing, not for everyday use. Nice paint design on the Drift variant too!

Also, some minor notes about the new horn situation.
1) The LeGran, Burnside Special, Lansdale and Roamer have some very JDM-sounding horns for what they are (Horn 2 for the LeGran, Horn 105 for the Special, Horn 109 for the Lansdale, Horn 125 for the Roamer). Not really fitting. There was no reason to change the horn of the Special to something else, the Horn 11 is just right for this car (and the Bluebuck as well, which does have it and I hope it stays this way). And the Roamer could have the same horn as the H-Series (which is the 115) or the D-Series (which is the 126), both are more fitting.
The Lansdale could have the same horn as the Wendover (which is the 101), also more fitting.
2) I love the old Italian horns though, especially those of the Stambecco and the Bolide, with their slight tone change!
3) Also, I feel the numbers of the new horns should be cleared up a bit because the most of horns we had up until now was 26 and suddenly we got to number 129, while the actual number is 56 (the new ones are 30).

 

Noticed something funny about the Street Tuned version of the BX

 

Does anybody know how to work the cement mixer?? And I would like a more in-depth explanation rather than someone just saying "Use the buttons". I know about the buttons but they don't seem to work for me.

 

The Gavril 4.5 and 5.5 V8s make the same power with the same mods in the various Gavril models (which makes sense, they're the same engine) but i noticed they make ~5% more power in the Ibishu BX, is this intended? Also, the power increase from the stage 1 twin turbochargers is laughable, barely anything more (or even less) than the race intake. I'm not an expert on V8s, but i would expect more power/torque from two turbos

 

After finishing the car delivery mission, how do I get my car back? I'm kinda screwed when the mission ends on other side of the map.

Horn feedback:

- 800-Series: doesn't sound anything like a 2010s German horn
- Miramar: suffers from clipping
- Lansdale: isn't AmericanTM enough

 

Choosing a color from the available options while selecting the street tuned sunburst doesn't change the color, and it stays orange. Also, in Utah, the traffic seems to sometimes drive up against the left wall when inside the tunnel. The spot where it happens is near the entrance to the tunnel that's right by the west highway spawn point, and it's on the right side (when looking from outside the tunnel).

 

I wish "freestyle" drift moves could be utilized in the scoring system. I play a game called DriftX, and it bugs me that in free-roam sessions, a 360 entry or other controlled spinning moves count as failures. Most of these scoring systems seem to be more geared towards actual competitions and whatnot, and that's fine, but freestyle, on-the-streets, drifting would be really nice.

 

In what version of the game developers added steering assistants for steering wheels? I think this is a big shibka... people please do not use this option, it kills the whole gameplay, the car itself turns out of almost any situation, the connection with the steering wheel disappears, it remains only to indicate where to go to the car

 

I'm going to preface this by saying I haven't had time the past couple months to play with my wheel, but I tried the update today and the steering feels a lot more laggy than I remember? Doesn't feel very responsive. I can tell the FFB is a little better, but the tire models still aren't very good. I tried the Ibishu remaster and they all feel terrible, they can barely move in a straight line and I have to constantly countersteer to prevent fishtailing in said straight line. And the cars only have 160 bhp so I don't think I'm spinning the tires in 2nd gear considering it can barely start in 2nd. But then also somehow they heavily understeer almost every corner until they snap oversteer on a dime.

On a similar topic, I think certain cars need their FFB tweaked. The aurata is noticeably horrible.

I booted up Live For Speed afterwards and it only runs the wheel at 100hz but both the input and vehicle handling in a similar vehicle type were considerably better. I remember BeamNG being pretty darn good before.

 

Every time I go to load up my career mode save I get this lua error. After it pops up the game stops loading and remains on the same screen until I shut it down. Not entirely sure on what is causing it, but I think I first saw it yesterday after completing the last specialized mission. So maybe it's caused by reaching the max level? Also got a similar lua error every time I passed by a speed camera, but I unfortunately don't have a screenshot of that (also might have something to do with hitting the max level on that milestone?)

 

There is a small yellow (I think) control panel on the rear of the truck, left of the concrete chute. The large red button changes the direction, and the small green one below and to the left of it turns it on (and maybe off, I don’t know).
