With this newest update, I'm having a ton of fun! Massive props to the career mode and UI teams! the only problem I've been having is the occasional mission not loading (specifically Crawling mission 3, it never gets out of loading screen), and also being poor cuz I keep crashing my SBR

All of these (except the roaming cops and player house) are confirmed future additions to career mode.

not entirely if this is entirely to do with just the career mode because ive also noticed it doing g2g, but i dont seem to get police cars spawning in traffic anymore? i have simplified traffic turned on but before it would also spawn police cars as well, now it doesnt seem to

I've never had police cars spawn in career mode.
    Also, wagon gang.

I love that. Especially when you are in a "chase" because you went 2 MPH over the limit,(and are pulling over) and they floor it into you at 100+ MPH and call the collision your fault. :)

Or when one of them brake checks you on an off-ramp in WCUSA and traps you then another rams you from behind at ~70 mph

Both are good reasons police ai needs work and why they are not in career mode.

    This!

Police were there at one point, but only as a test. They aren't there now as the team hasn't had a chance to work on their behaviour for Career Mode yet. It is most certainly planned though, but for now you'd be bankrupt in no time with their behaviour.

I’m glad to finally be giving career mode a try! Typing up a suggestion list and including details I really think stick as I come along :)

Quarryside Dealership: It kicks off with a good selection for the first three starter vehicles FWD/AWD/RWD. If visual wear is implemented I really hope older cars can be shown with some indicators of visible age in the future.
I also noticed the tutorial Covet spawns to trade in if you take the tutorial. Could tutorial users be given the option to keep their Covet instead of trading it in?

Belasco City Garage: This is the first place I drove to because it looks inviting and the laptop carries features such as storing your vehicle which makes the garage sort of feel like a base/home.

Tuning: I like this being at the garage opposed to in the menu! Would it be reasonable to associate a cost with each change made since all would require a service?

Repairs: I've intentionally wacked a wall :p and am overcome by dreadful excitement upon seeing the private repair expense costing more than my car! It heavily incentivizes using insurance. Damage costs seem reasonable and I love the repair timers added to encourage getting a second vehicle.

Towing: I see towing is free to a garage. I believe a base price and an additional distance-to-location fee should be the cost.

Insurance: I believe it'd make sense for the hit on players' insurance score to vary depending on car damage amounts. I was about to suggest plans varying on deductibles, coverages, and so forth. But I now see it's already added! This is great!

Buying Cars: Me and my Discord consistently checked for vehicles on the laptop. I really like this feature! And having to pay for damaging vehicles during test drives is a nice touch!
The low priced cars always seem to be the best choice at the moment since they’re always mechanically and aesthetically sound enough to drive as-is. It’d be fun to come across some with varying levels of scrapyard readiness and others that are rare budget daily drivers. Mechanical problems such as overheating, starting problems, sloppy suspension, toasted brakes, wire-shown tires, missing panels, etc. Maybe even electrical problems such as burnt lights or a low battery. Lots that can be done if the team can extend beyond 24hr workdays :p

Early Cargo Runs: Loving the early cargo mission grind. I'm spending hours with my bx and a Lansdale as delivery vehicles and it's highly enjoyable. I think the team nailed it by adding relaxed and timed deliveries to spice up pacing when desired. I would like timed deliveries being highlighted on the loading list as they’re easy to miss. A 'driving' part of the delivery mission fun is using your own vehicle which gives a heightened sense of risk and reward. I hope this can be adaptable throughout career mode.

Driving Fines: I hate the speed cameras and I'm glad they've been added! I triggered the $500 fine camera within the city twice on the same delivery run before never speeding at the location again. It makes you learn quick! If police are added I’d like to see them pull me over for dangerous driving or if I’ve stripped my vehicle of necessary parts (exhaust, doors, wheels, plate). Although I feel like too much enforcement would take some of the fun out of the game. Maybe there could be a way to balance this?

UI Aps: I see a lot of potential to integrate UI applications as purchasables in-game. Going to get your car dynode for power/torque curves, buying telemetry data devices, and other features would be neat to acquire!

Beam Phone: This suggestion is a bit off the rails but I think it could have potential. It’d be a fun way to introduce useful tools for on-the-go (or likely pulled over as most players would come to find). UI features, some menu options, towing, event alerts, and maybe a vertical photomode? I know the team would come up with good use cases!

Drifting: I tried the 3 starter missions and love the point system! A lot of drifting and motorsports is cultivated through track meetups and events. So I’m hoping it can be added with a similar vibe of “Owh, there’s a drift meetup this evening in 10 minutes. I’ll get the car ready!”
Fingers crossed tandem AI is achievable!

    Bugs:
    1) If career mode is started with "Show challenge markers" enabled, players can't continue on to some missions. I don't see a good reason for having them disabled in career mode but ran into this by mistake.
    2) Cars will spawn parked on some delivery locations.
    3) I often times run into a black screen like many others. Spamming escape gets the game back.
    4) Clicking ‘Test Drive’ on a car lets you test drive without the countdown. If you click Test Drive a second time the countdown and penalty due to wrecking will begin.

I'd say they could also pull over for say, damaged exhausts or non working lights.

just gonna say in regards to this i encountered something today that was really cool, a barstow which had enough miles and wear and tear on it that it actually wouldnt really idle, and instead the throttle had to be used to keep the car going when the revs drop, was really cool to see (im pretty sure this was because of the mileage although i must add a disclaimer that it couldve been because of a mod)

ive also noticed that automatic transmission seem to get very, *very* affected by wear on some vehicles in a cool and realistic way (again, i believe it's intentional but could be mod related yada yada). i delivered a cherrier picnic gti automatic that would sometimes creep forward a little bit when you put it in reverse and vice versa, and the shifts seemed very slushy. it's neat to see, tho i do wonder if stuff like this is reversible? do repaired/replaced parts hold the same amount of wear as the mileage on the chassis?

One confusing thing I noticed in the latest career build is that the option to pay to quick travel to a location seems to have disappeared. This is problematic for the car jockey missions which can send you on one-way trips to locations where you can't get another car jockey mission (ex. a repair shop to a race track at level 1), leaving you stranded.

Can you still quick travel to anywhere on the map at the start of the game, or has that been gated behind a progression level?
