Once we're in the final phases of career mode will there be a limit on how many cars you can have?

I dont know if anyone has said this yet. But I think one feature that should be added is difficulty settings we change when starting a new game. Like turning off the speed cameras.

And also that the cars do not crash, do not run out of gas and for one mission paid 10000000$! The question arises: why do you need a career mode at all? Let it be as the author intended! And less work and immersion in the game without cutting gameplay

As we roll out new gameplay systems and start getting your feedback, we're all about striking the right balance with difficulty and elements like police chases, speed traps, and repair costs. We haven't decided against having difficulty settings in Career Mode just yet—everything's still up in the air. We know there are some pretty big issues with progression and earnings right now, but don’t worry, we’re on it. Thanks so much for your insights as keep moving forward! :)

Not sure I'm being dense but I just did a "car delivery" and now that I've dropped it off I'm stranded on foot... There's an option to take a taxi when buying a car but not after completing a delivery? (or maybe I'm missing something obvious...)
    --- Post updated ---
    Just ran into another "issue"...
I spawned a trailer delivery for semi trailer by mistake... I'm nowhere near being able to by a truck that can pull it and there can be only one trailer delivery active at once so it seems I'm stuck without being able to do deliver any other trailers until I make money in some other way to go pick up that stupid trailer...
Some way to abandon a trailer delivery (like the cargo ones) would be helpful (for a "fee").

Played the car delivery mode a bunch, love the idea but unfortunately it's limited by the map size. First is that you only have a limited number of destinations and quickly get used to the routes, second is that all deliveries take like 10 minutes max (and much shorter on average). I wish it was possible to take a car and take it for a longer haul. Large trucks especially make little sense since the distances are too short. I get the technical limitations but it really hurts the enjoyment factor for me. :(

    :rolleyes::rolleyes:
Someday we will wait for the map expansion and drive to the next town in a truck carrying a bunch of cars, theoretically this can be done by connecting, for example, "Utah and Wcusa" with a long buffer road that unloads one settlement and loads the other into memory, as a result we will get the maximum size of the Wcusa + Utah + connecting road route section of at least 40 kilometers.

This is a very rough example, but you get my point)

Good to hear! Can't wait till I can have a fleet of taxis ;). Speaking of which, can there be a way to transfer the career mode customs into configs for freeroam use?

Sorry about this being the case for the time being. Currently, this feature is a work in progress, and we recognize its limitations. We aimed to introduce a "truck rentals" mechanic before release, but aligning this with the Career Mode's development timeline proved challenging! Right up to the day before release, we were still organizing gameplay tiers, and we're now focused on polishing these features and finalizing the delivery aspects of the game.

The plan is for players to use trucks provided at locations that offer trailers for delivery. These trucks won’t be the best—just enough to get the job done. Deliveries made with these trucks will incur a small penalty, for example, a "$500 payout with a 20% fee taken by the truck owner."

We totally share your vision for larger maps down the line! Right now, we’re focusing on Delivery gameplay within Career Mode because it integrates a multitude of systems like vehicle rentals, UI screens, point of interest development, navigation, progression, and scoring. This is our starting point before we expand into the Motorsports Branch and other gameplay styles. As we develop these, the West Coast USA map will start to feel bigger, and players will discover the best spots for drifting, evading police, and performing high-speed stunts. For the moment, we're taking a slow and steady approach as we build up the essential tech needed to really get things moving! Thanks a lot for the feedback :)

This is certainly something I would like to see! I'd prefer a much more user-friendly "export to freeroam" functionality from the garage. We'll get there :)

This is unrelated, but do developers' posts not "combine" or whatever? Whenever I post two messages in a row, they combine and it says '--Post updated--'.

Not sure what you're referring to, but to be clear, I just responded in 3 separate responses instead of my usual one-big-post response.

Also, @Musicman27 I just double checked, apparently Career Mode configs are not saved as separate files at the moment, so there is no way to just find the .pc file and move it as I initially suspected! Good news is, there is interest in this feature from the dev side though, so we'll see. :)

i had a similar thought the other day, what if the saved cars, that we made in Freeroam, are getting sold at the dealerships?

Some elements can be cut, but some have to stay. Maybe insurance cost can be reduced, mission difficulty reduced, or like he s
    You called?

Cool! My suggestion might actually add something! That's never happened before...

Maybe a mid-eastern USA map like in Wyoming. It has great scenery, planes for long-distance hauling highways, mountains with scenic roads, and plenty of towns to deliver too! It also has a new overall aesthetic for a map. I think it would make a great large-scale highway map, that is more than just a highway.

Rental option sounds like a good long term solution for sure, but I do think we would also need an option to "abandon" for a fee (like for deliveries where we can pay to just end the deliveries in progress.

Absolutely, there's a whole lot involved and conceptualized at the moment for it, hoping we'll will be working on prototypes in the coming weeks/months! Some exciting and juicy details I'm excited to share once we get more traction with them as well, stay tuned!

Whenever developers post multiple messages in a row, they're all separate, but when anyone else does it, they're combined. Here, I'll demonstrate.

Quick travel is for people who don't have the free time to walk 5 km in-game))

@krallopian do you know if the removal of the taxi / quick travel option is intended? It makes car jockey missions significantly more time-consuming to do.
