No problem guys, for now I checked it out and saw the user was a complete spammer and banned and removed their posts. Sorry for that nonsense showing up on the forums! :)

Things like this inspire me to focus on plans for "erratic" traffic behaviour to mimic real-life personalities. ;)

On second thought, the AI is currently already doing a good enough job of that haha!

Yeah, you should probably remove our posts as well because we got pretty heated

Speaking of which can you increase the speed limit everywhere so they actually follow the speed limit? About 10 MPH should do. Or fix it so they go 10 MPH faster. Them going 20 on a 30 road is annoying.

It is quite frustrating at times for sure! Increasing limits is more complex than it might seem, as it would likely shift the problem elsewhere. Not to worry though, our traffic AI team is well aware of the current limitations and they have plans in place to address these issues and more!

The AI go like sixty-five on Utah's 80-MPH roads.

    It's like Homeworld...

Nothing is as simple as it seems.

Dangit your pfp reminds me of Homeworld and now I gotta play it!

Funny thing, the only maps I ever load into these days are WCUSA and Grid Map, I often forget we have other maps that players engage with! The joys of being Career Mode focussed :D

For other level issues though, please do post concerns and suggestions here: https://www.beamng.com/forums/ideas-and-suggestions.4/ and just remember, issues like this specifically are well-known at the moment. :)

I really enjoy all our maps, but I've been particularly focused on WCUSA. Originally, it wasn’t designed for traffic, much of our planned gameplay, or the vehicles we now have. However, it's perfect for developing Career Mode, so I'm committed to refining it. Every day, I make between 20 to 100 changes, whether it's adjusting road lines, updating terrain, adding guard rails, or rebuilding intersections. There’s still much to improve, but as we've discussed in this thread, it’s all about finding the right balance between performance and playability. If I was able to plop the ETK test center into the middle of WCUSA without breaking a bunch of backward compatibility, I'd do it in a heart beat! :)

Speaking of which, any idea what's going to be in that empty construction lot next to the movie studio? Or is it going to be an empty construction lot just for the sake of being an empty construction lot?

Hey krallopian, I've got a few ideas for additions to WCUSA that will make Belasco City feel better defined while also adding more elements to the career mode.

    Screenshot112.png
    1. Mountaintop Open Space (based off Mount Sutro/Twin Peaks, San Bruno Mountain, Griffith Park)
This open space is perfect for the city dwellers of Belasco to connect with nature between all the hustle and bustle, or for a bunch of hooligans from the suburbs to blast through in their souped-up Hirochi Auratas. Thanks to California’s infamous wildfires and the flammability of eucalyptus trees, this area is also the site of a large tree-clearing operation, leading to the odd sight of logging trucks moving through the streets of Belasco City.

    2. Coast Highway Bridge (based off Bixby Bridge, Rocky Creek Bridge, Garrapata Creek Bridge, etc.)
This beautiful Art Deco bridge is an iconic landmark of California. Unfortunately, recent rockslides have damaged the bridge and closed the highway to the south. Caltrans has contracted SealBrik and Hot Rolled Inc. in Belasco City to provide concrete and rebar for repairs, but the logistics of getting the building materials over to the coast is proving to be challenging. For one, truck drivers must decide between either navigating the busy streets and steep hills of Belasco or taking the long way around and using the single-lane mountain tunnel, and for another, truck drivers have to contend with the throngs of tourists that still come to take pictures of the bridge despite it being damaged.

    3. Museum (based off The Getty)
This museum situated on the mountainside is only accessible through a winding mountain road with many switchbacks – perfect for stunt drivers looking to test their mettle on a touge-style road, and a challenge for bus drivers whose route makes a stop at the top.

    4. High-end neighborhood (based off Beverly Hills and Pacific Heights)
Home to the rich of the rich, this neighborhood is a place where Civetta Scintillas are just as common as Ibishu Pessimas, all sitting on the side of a mountain overlooking the rest of the peons of Belasco City and out into the ocean. They’ve even got their own hospital. Though, due to the nationwide nursing shortage, many patients have to be transported to Belasco General Hospital, which only the most skilled ambulance drivers can get them there on time and in one piece.

    5. Oceanside neighborhood (based off Santa Monica, Pacific Grove, Carmel-By-The-Sea)
Home to retirees, beach bums, and plenty of vacation homes, this neighborhood could probably be described as the “most chill” in Belasco City. Well, aside from the unbearable racket of all those air-cooled flat-four Autobello engines.

    6. Squiggly street (based off Lombard St and Vermont St in San Francisco)
This is Belasco City’s famous “squiggly street”, a residential street winding down a steep hill through a series of tight switchbacks. Loved by tourists but hated by delivery drivers as it is the only thing in the way of what would otherwise be a straight shot from Belasco’s industrial area to the waterfront.

    7. Mountain Tunnel (based off the Baker-Barry Tunnel)
This narrow tunnel is a single lane for both directions. Will you: A. obey the law and wait a few minutes for a green light, or B. bomb through the tunnel at high speeds and hope no unsuspecting traffic car is coming the other direction? (We all know it’s going to be B.)

I want this badly. Although they already have the quigly street somewhere in the map. I think the deforesting operation would be a perfect excuse for having a logging truck working here! This would be awesome to see some of the closed roads in the city opened for more content! Especially the beachside road.
