Update Speculation thread

I love those graphics on old Japanese SUVs and pickups

Jeeps are simply way too unique when it comes to design, even if you compare them with other American 4x4s like Blazer, Bronco and Scout. Kinda like 911, it will always stand out when you compare it to other sports cars.

 

i personally think that if the hopper receives a remaster, it should get a jdm model that caters to japanese suv niches while the usdm model caters to the actual jeep wrangler. that way we can have the best of both worlds.

 

An official japanese offroader would be legit fire af tbh!!

 

I speculate the next update will have some gambler cars and a minivan? and maybe a WhyBeAre video too.

it seems the devs like to make equvilent cars but give them different origins, the pigeon/wigeon being based on those English things and the Japanese hopper resembling a jeep so who knows what is next

 

I'd personally wan't the heavy-duty hopper variants to lean into the "modern" look, rather than the retro one, for contrast purposes.

Or something like the Pajero Evo, just because it's Japanese and it looks way too cool

 

Actually, why is everybody talking about the hopper remaster.
What proof is there to back it up?

Don't worry, exactly none so far

 

you can also get the contemporary look without having to put a modern facelift on it.

 

Another thing we're missing from the Hopper, as can be seen in many of the photos posted on this page, is some rad retro graphics!

 

I kinda if the hopper gets a remaster want to see the hopper being a rebadge of the original American SUV sold in non north American country's with an ibishu drivetrain

 

I hope the hopper turns into a bullet proof Toyota thing

lol that'd be a cool trailer idea, where it'd go through the Top Gear Toyota Hilux torture tests and still drives away at the end

 

Even if we don't (we probably won't) get a hopper remaster I REALLY REALLY want an interior refresh. You literally cannot see the interior unless it is in 100% direct sunlight.

For real. Not the only car with that issue. The Civetta Bolide is like that, too. It's kinda disorienting and weird. It wasn't always like that, I think the shaders/PBR update that did it.
