    Hey all,

I noticed that BeamNG runs pretty slow on my Ryzen 5. It loads fast initially, but as soon as I add more than one car or add traffic, things slow down a lot. As soon as I add traffic, it everything is super slow, opening the Vehicles tab takes a good 8-10 seconds. Trying to click a vehicle takes an eternity.

I was confused, and spun up Resource Monitor to see each CPU core's activity. I was surprised to see that BeamNG was only using 4 CPU cores out of my total 6 (Ryzen 5 5600G, 6 Cores, 12 Threads). Attached below is a screenshot of Resource Monitor while AI Traffic (Police) is running on West Coast:

I am aware that BeamNG uses one core per car (not one thread per car), however, how does it make sense that 2 of my actual cores are unused? I checked Resource Monitor after adding another car, and it still refuses to use more than 4 of my CPU cores. No other apps are running apart from one tab in Opera GX. Results don't improve when closing Opera GX.

    System specs:
    CPU: Ryzen 5 5600G (6 Cores, 12 Threads)
    GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060
    RAM: 16GB
    OS: Windows 11

I have an old processor, (Intel Xeon e5 v4) and it has 14 cores and 28 threads. The individual thread score isn't that great, but I run into the same issue with traffic. I can spawn up any car and get 60fps. But as soon as I spawn in traffic, my framerate drops to 30-40fps. I don't get it, because I have tons of cores that can be used. I haven't checked to see what cores are being used, but I know that beam is not taking full advantage of my cpu. I do notice that my cpu usage skyrockets to 50-60% from 10-20% normally. It could just be that my cpu is old, and it doesn't have that good of specs, but it could also be beam. Just thought I'd say this so you'd know you're not the only one. I also have way more cores and threads then you, so in theory I should run it way better.
