what's even worse is that the valve cover gasket i replaced is actually sealing properly, and the oil level has dropped since then, so has to be coming from somewhere else

I like carburetors, but fuel injection has its benefits.

I think I’ll just bring it in to the local small engine repair place.
    Never mind.

    It's alive!

I cut and installed a new vacuum line because it was missing, as well as switched around all the misaligned ones on the carburetor. I also fixed a coolant leak, and did something else... I forgot.
Tomorrow, I'll get it on the lift and fix the transmission, and also the headlight.

Got it on the lift, but I still need to do the work, which I'll get to next week. Just diagnosed the problems today. Leaky transfer case and transmission pan gaskets.

Looked it over thoughly after buying it and bringing it home found a bit of rust but nothing too worrying espacially for the money i have paid for it. Still have alot to do on it until it can see the road again. The Handbrake is broken the ABS sensor on the front right Shows 3kph when its not moving and something on the catalytic converter is broken wich i will need to look into.
