Yup, that's most likely the cause, if you already did clean the cache, I would suggest trying deactivating a few mods and see if it helps out, until the one causing issues is found.
I have tried that too like I deleted all the mods reinstalled the game and just added the defender then also it is not fixing
I just fixed that bug this morning, a couple of nodes somehow got moved and prevented the door from closing correctly, will post a hotfix later.

As of 0.32.1 this mod no longer seems to work (windshield breaks on spawn, steers very little, appears to only have 1 gear?)

Nice! Well, right now at this point it's all about accuracy I guess, missing parts, wrong stats...anything that can improve what's already there would definitely be welcomed, right now I can't think of anything specific in particular, but again, great to see a real owner around!
