The Charger has been my dream car for over a year now, and that happened to be the time when I discovered exo's 2015 charger which I installed from a video that had a link to reupload on a google drive after it was deleted. After noticing that it was really outdated, I was REALLY hoping that someone would make a new one. I found your mod today, and thought I was dreaming for a moment, becasue I thought that NO ONE was gonna step up and finally make a mod just like this. It's sad to see this cancelled, as I feel like it would get alot of attention. PLEASE reconsider releasing this, and if you don't, I would love to have special access to this, as I wouldn't have to spend a couple years going from intermediate to pro in blender and having to learn code to make something like this...
Aww... look at all these people crying. I wasn't following the mod at all, actually, but this still makes me feel sad for all of you. ... I know, I have an idea. Looking through the pics I don't really know if this mod was nearly finished or not by the time it got cancelled, but I might put up a risky suggestion: @blockeeeer, if you can, would you like to share the unfinished mod with us anyways, so one can try and pick up this mod off from where we left? I can tell there were tons of people eagerly waiting for this mod's release, and it would break my heart to see their hearts broken upon realizing their favourite car will probably never get to be in-game, ever. Please? Maybe if we all work together, we might be able to finally finish this mod. All of us. Together. We could make this an open community project, just like akemi's third-gen Camaro mod (even tho there were like 3 people working on it). As always, we will do our best to credit you properly for your work, and make sure you are acknowledged for starting this whole project. You just need to give us permission. However, if we are going to start this project as a community, we obviously need some people who are willing to risk it, tooth and nail, to get this mod finished to the end. Is anyone out there, all of you watching this thread, up to the challenge? Even if you have to learn, from scratch, how to JBeam, model, texture, do ANYTHING to benefit this mod in some way, just to get this mod finished and ready to a reasonable standard? Otherwise, this will all be for nothing. I'll be waiting.
I'm sorry I canceled this project. I feel very sorry too, but there is nothing I can do. The Dodge Charger was produced from 2015 to 2024. In the past ten years, Dodge has created countless configurations, which is destined to be a large amount of work. So it took me a long time. But during this time, my skills continued to improve. and now when I look at my previous work, they are absolutely rubbish. I don’t want my work to be imperfect, so I can only choose to redo it or give up. And now I have many other things to do, so giving up seems to be the best option at the moment. Maybe I'll start over again when I'm done with everything? I have no idea. I can't tell an exact time, maybe two years later? I don’t know what will happen to me in two years, so I can’t guarantee it. I know you guys want this. But I can't guarantee that I can find all the files. At the same time, I'm scared that someone will ruin my work, turn it into a low-quality mod and publish or even sell it? give me some time to think about it.
Don't worry, you don't have to remodel the entire car, maybe just a few parts that might need to be modeled, you can do small things, like air filters or smth. It'll help you learn the basics of modelling, and if you're not happy later on you can always remodel them in an update --- Post updated --- The more experienced modelers can do big things, like bumpers and bodies. There just needs to be enough of them
