I want to make a remake to the mod. But I cant because I have no idea how to mod. So here is a list of things I want in my remaster (I plan on wasting my time to learn how to mod. And i'm putting this his so you can give me some of your ideas too.) -Zenki tail lights that act like the ones in Initial D -Bluetop engine sounds from Initial D -I might add the redtop engine? Not the beams engine, but the redtop 4AGE. -My own silvertop sounds, even if they are high pitched. -Might call it "The Dogwater Remaster" because even if I did know how to mod I would absolutely suck. -Maybe a moving engine belt for the silvertop? -Fixed dashboard lights. -Maybe, just maybe, an AE85. Aaaaaand that's basically all my ideas for my remaster for now. If I do make a remaster, then I wont do anything with Jbeam because I can't model in blender. Anyways, share some of your ideas with me if you have any. (Sorry if I sound extremely lazy in this post. I basically am.) EDIT: I'm gonna be using this for the bluetop sounds: (Im gonna just guess the RPM)
Well, just start it. Step by step. U can find all documentation for how to mod the beamng here https://documentation.beamng.com/
can someone help me, when I install the tachometer it shows its installed bet in the cockpit view its not on dash board please help
I would just wait for Ange's engine simulator to come out before doing more sound work. I do agree that they are not great but there are far bigger issues with the mod than it sounding bad. It should really be fully redone with very little taken from this version. Also just follow the preexisting number naming convention. I originally named my sound fixes and regular fixes after myself but it's easier for people to know which version is the most up to date by which one has the highest number.
latest i can offer to you is my small patch on ~p175 with 17.5 hotfix (i do not remember page of this) Now i implementing new mirrors in AE, but that work is not done yet (setting dashmirror and positions for cameras), maybe i will post it soon
Sorry. My remaster might be cancelled because I had an extremely hard time at school today and it's making me feel like ditch water.
I'ts not something you just pick up over night dude, I've been altering mods and making my own additions for 2+ years and i'm still a novice. Also highly confused about how a bad day at school affects you to the point of ditching a hobby you want to pursue.
Hello folks, it's kind of a bit off topic but I was finally able to drive an 86 Trueno rental car in real life while beeing in Japan for a few weeks. So I thought about sharing a few photos here. It was kind of surprising how accurate the mod is/was compared to the real car. It really drives very similar (except of the independent rear suspension of course). Didn't tried drifting it since it was (sadly) prohibited ... anyways it was a great experience driving through hakone and the japanese mountains. And thank's again to all of you who still keep this mod alive. Kind regards, schumacher
--- Post updated --- Sorry for saying that. I was being overly dramatic about the situation. Summer break just started for me. So I have a LOT of time to work on the remaster --- Post updated --- Can someone please give me the list of all the bugs? I want to try and fix them if I learn how to code. So I won't be able to be bothered with "Oh, you add all this, but you don't care about any of the bugs!"
i do not sure, but in comparison with few real one front part of trueno seems askew (personal experience only, never saw original japan car, only local restorations in my country) Headlights are directed to the sides instead of direct line btw here is it, still without dashmirror. I don't have enough free time to finish mirrors because university is my first priority Left sidemirror looks fine too
Alright. I'll just try to fix whatever I think is wrong. Also, I think I messed up on what I said about making a "remaster." What I meant was that I would add new sounds, add better textures, fix whatever bugs there is, and that's it. But someone told me that they didn't want any of the original mod left. Unfortunately for them, I'm still going to keep the original model, since I'm too lazy to learn how to model in blender, and how to work with Jbeam. I will promise though, once I make my so called, "remaster" it will be absolutely epic. So far, all I have done is replace the speed chime with the old one, because I thought the once in the last hotfix was too high pitched. I have not done anything else because I am a procrastinator. I don't know exactly when I will release it, but based on how lazy I am, I will probably release it in august or sometime. But that's all I have for now.
You are able to text me too, i know how to use blender (at novice level, but correction of geometry is simplest procedure) and something about jbeam. Share info about your work anyway, it will be nice to see whats going on
