Have you done edits to the map in the editor, I accidentally moved the ground you can try setting it back to 0,0,0(That's what I did)

This is most likely what he did. He must've accidentally edited the map and saved the edits.

Haha, no I do not believe I did. I did the update through steam, and then things broke over there.

If you like to revert from any edit you made on any vanilla map do the following:

Go to you user folder (start BeamNG launcher and select "Manage User Folder"). If there is a "levels" folder (with content) than you obviously edited sth. on a map and saved changes. If there are folders in there named like "wcusa" or "italy" you can simply delete (backup) them and you are back to original.

Updating or reinstalling BeamNG does not do the job since you could have made big edits as a own map project and they won't be deleted by such tasks (luckily).

Hope this isn't too old to reply on, But I am having the same issue too. Fresh install, no mods, no map edits. But its more then just bushes and I have some theories.

    screenshot_2024-06-08_06-54-38.png screenshot_2024-06-08_06-54-43.png screenshot_2024-06-08_06-54-54.png screenshot_2024-06-08_06-55-17.png screenshot_2024-06-08_06-55-41.png

Additionally, Terrain painter does not adjust depth outside of the roads of the map.

Long story short I've been working on a career overhaul mod that included some map changes. I think pre Hotfix 2 everything was working fine. I added custom mud and custom depth. But then at some point I think around Hotfix 2 the mud had no depth.

See pictures below of where I painted beach sand on the side of the road and under the road. The depth change only occurs on the road portion. But areas have the physics and V effects change of beach sand, just not the depth. Not to sound too dramatic but I think this absolutely broke my mod :)

Notice the tire is deeper into the "asphalt"

    Very noticeable here

If any devs see this I would love to help collaborate and fix. I spend a long time working on this mod and hate to see it broken on a few days after release.

    Thanks!
