D-Series Add-on Unofficial Fix: Version 1 Hi Guys, over the last week or so I've worked on an unofficial fix for this mod. It mostly just updates outdated .jbeam, allowing this mod to be used on newer versions such as 0.31. Keep in mind this is only a first draft, so it is somewhat low effort, and many graphical issues remain. If there is enough demand, I will continue updating this mod to fix these issues. CHANGELOG Replaced old Station Wagon .jbeam with modified short extended body .jbeam, fixing nonfunctional doors and windshield spikes. Updated many oldstyle parts' .jbeam. Doors, hoods and tailgates now work with the new latch system, with other parts updated to support these changes (Rad Support, Some front fenders). Updated interior parts to work properly, combining oldstyle shifters with new interiors no longer causes game instabilty, and steering wheels no longer clip into the steering column of the oldstyle interior. Modified Wedgeback .jbeam to prevent it from clipping with the truck cab. The model clipping was annoying me so I edited the model as well to not clip so bad, may replace later. Issues: Some textures/materials are still bad (Don't know how to fix) Station wagon doors and flare/stepside bedcap have not been updated as they work already (Will be fixed in a later update) Some parts may not work correctly with updated parts, I.E Fenders. (Will be fixed in a later update) Updated oldstyle manual shifters are lazy, looks weird, but works. (Will be fixed in a later update) The Haybale and semi hitch seem to lack textures/materials. The hitch works if you download an older version of the T-series, like this one: https://www.beamng.com/threads/0-30-gavril-t-series-and-trailers.95616/ (Don't know how to fix) I think the semi hitch may not work with the new 0.31 trailers, if you want to use the semi with a trailer, see above. Yea ar162b has not been on this platform since April 10, 2023 so I’m not sure if he’ll really care but thank you for the making this fix
dash is messed up, the gauges are inverted so the dials go basically upside down ie speedometer goes down the faster youre going --- Post updated --- steering wheel doesent work either
This is really cool but the hay bales still have no texture. --- Post updated --- Also the rpm gauge spins the wrong way.
Tips for putting a pre-0.31 semi truck with a 0.31 trailer: Spawn a trailer of your choice and the semi Go into the parts selector for the trailer and remove a part called “Brake Valve” Connect using nodegrabber if the semi is a modded semi, if not modded (default T-series pre-0.31), use L Enjoy! --- Post updated ---
I had been trying to figure out how to fix this on my own (absolutely clueless, and no mod experience)! Thank you for fixing one of my favorite D-series mods! The only issue I have is the old tailgate having an off colored rectangle where the "Gavril" text is supposed to be, but I can look past that tbh. Thank you again!
