    I tried it. I love the boatiness, although it's kinda tricky to handle (RIP keyboard users).

    Not sure how to retract the roof. I got the roof unlatched (button above the windshield), I got the trunk open (button on the middle console), but I'm stuck now (and my roof is stuck unlatched lmao).

    The jetstream version is interesting. Does the jet engine have insanely high inertia? It seems that way from how it behaves. Interestingly, the automatic transmission can only get it up to 63 mph, that seems kinda low. With the manual 5 speed transmission I was able to get it up to 115 mph, which is more like it. However, the manual behaves as if the engine had very high inertia - shifting to a higher gear causes very dramatic burnouts even in higher gears...no other engine behaves this way...

    Will there be more transmissions available? All manuals are either sport or race. Anything casual, just a 3 or 4 speed regular manual? In the same vein, maybe a casual manual stock config?

    The Jetstreams auto will need some tuning, where I was test driving it while making it had a bit of a downhill that I didn't think about so it could easily get above 60mph but yeah trying on a flat road with a keyboard it maxes out quickly. Also no the inertia and friction is lower than piston engines, it just has an odd torque curve that means the torque starts to decrease after about 25k RPM so it can't rev quickly at higher RPMs. The IRL Chrysler Turbine Car was similarly sluggish which was one of the main complaints from the public testing program. If you drive the Jetstream with a wheel or controller it's a better experience currently, that's what I used while testing and making it, but it will be better for keyboard players when the first hotfix comes.

    To drop the top you have to unlatch the roof while the trunk is closed and then click the trunk switch. The roof is slow because it's a fragile and tight hinge system, so while you might think it's not doing anything it might just be that it's slow at first. If you don't want to wait for it or if you want to build convertible race cars there is an option in the parts selector for a fixed cover panel instead of the soft top.

    And no there wont be a factory manual, it's a luxury car so it was only offered with autos. There's no 'base' manual transmission swap because I didn't imagine people swapping a manual into a car would go for the cheapo ones, they'd likely go for the sport ones.

    I can't tell whether I like Signia or Dynamo better, but Dynamo is currently sitting as my default. 10/10, I'm looking forward to what's next.

    Unbelievable work on this astounding mod. However I did find a small bug with the passenger vent window, where if it opens too far it will snap loose and not be able to move. Other than that, amazing effort as usual.

    @LJ74
    This is quite possibly the best mod out there.
    It's amazing.

    I've found a few bugs; the 'Late Hardtop Options (A)' configuration has the early dashboard lettering, and the right spotlight doesn't work, it just gives the left one a white texture. These may be a bit nitpicky, but police configurations' descriptions (all of them) should say 'its', not 'it's'. The descriptions of the Burnout and Rally configurations should say '70s and '60s instead of 70's and 60's, respectively. The right vent window also sometimes flips "inside out" when fully open, at least on the early convertible models.

    absolutly loving this mod, i really like the boatyness of it,

    would like to see simulated outside sounds when you roll the windows down and remove the roof, i feel like thats a seriously underrated feature in every car in beam, especially coming from someone who likes to enjoy the outside v8 goodness

    But that's the thing, it's only with the automatic transmission. When I test it with the 5 speed manual you left there as an alternative in the transmission slot, it can go like 115 mph. And it accelerates very fast (it does a burnout even when I lift the clutch very gently), so it's not the engine that's sluggish, it's the combination of the engine and transmission.
