This thing is great. I made an awesome cruiser/street drag car.

It's surprisingly controllable, even on a keyboard.

 

I've been quietly following this work of art since the first forum post, just got it on Gumroad, very excited to go smoke some tires.

 

Absolutely awesome as always LJ! The attention to detail is amazing and the inclusion of the gas turbine concept is just the cherry on top

I haven't even played the full release version, but the WIP version was already worth the money. Would highly recommend to anyone who is curious as it was (mostly) bug free last time I tested and I think lj added new configs since then.

 

So there's a button that's highlighted on the floor, near the parking brake and other pedals, yet for the life of me, I can't figure out what it does. I love all of the features, and the use of the the turbine engine is incredible. Overall a fantastic mod!

 

High beam switch. The dashboard button turns on the lights, the floor switch flips between regular and high beam.

 

@LJ74 just about to buy it, the bugs will be fixed right? Also are any updates planned or only bugfixes? Thanks for the awesome mod!

 

If I may make one request of you, LJ, it is to update your other mods with the openable windows.

Also @SimulatorAdventures the spinny thing on the supercharger is the drive pulley.

 

I just got this mod and it is excellent. What I think it badly needs is a dirty beater interior skin (like the Lansdale) and a sound that automatically switches to the exterior sound when the windows and/or roof are broken or lowered (like the modded Satsuma AMP and Hirochi CCF). Also, with regards to the Jetstream, I've noticed that putting in a much longer differential (or the stick shift) allows it to go well above 60mph as the real-life Chrysler Turbine Car could; the standard differential limits the speed because the torque curve quickly peters out at the top of third gear. Implementing turbine engine failures in future updates via scripting would still be great, but at least it is capable of drinking Saudi Arabia dry on the grocery run, which is realistic.

 

i made a few roadsport versions that in the lore i made for them are factory manuals

 

when the demo versions are released, will there be a version of the turbine model as well?

 

I don't think the turbine will be in the demo version.
