FPS Drops

hello, i have FPS drops on beamng, that occur on literally every graphic preset. what can i do?

 

Maybe your computer is overheating? I had this problem before, and all i needed was new thermal paste and a new cooler.

You can change thermal paste on laptops too, you just need to dissasemble it. I would trust that to the professionals tho.
But the easiest thing you can do, is buy a "cooler pad". If you can't afford one, you can try to lift the laptop a bit higher in the air, put it on top of some books or boxes, just make sure the vents are getting air, and that they aren't blocked.

 

What are your specs? Does it happen in safe mode? Also, try bringing up the performance graph (CTRL + Shift + F) and take a look at what is happening when the drops occur (maybe post a screenshot if you can).
