I'm pretty much bored with BeamNg and can't be bothered with it anymore. I dunno if I'll get back into it, but I might as well release my beta crap that's worth releasing so people can actually enjoy it. Have fun. I know it doesn't help to say "don't re-upload" because someone will do it anyway and I don't really care anymore, so do whatever you want really... If you want the reason why I got bored with beamng: development of this game isn't going in the direction I would like, and it's going too slowly for my liking, and I'm doing full working weeks of doing 3d stuff, which means that when I get home and in the weekends, I just can't be bothered to do anything 3d...

Dammit. Ya better come back and finish that 318i :p

But I understand why you want to leave. I'm honestly tired of the waiting too. Developers, you made an experimental build, update it. I don't give a fuck if it bugs and lags and crashes every five minutes, give us something new. Right now there's not much to do in the game other than check out the new update every few months.
Once your game has something to do in it, you can pull off a long-wait-big-update system just fine, but with the game as it is, you need to keep people interested, or else... Well, this happens. That way to keep people interested is constant updates with new content.
While I absolutely understand your intentions to finish building a fully working, realistic and powerful physics engine first, it's not the way to keep people interested. You didn't sell a physics engine, you sold us a game.
I'm very interested in the code behind the physics engine itself, sure, but you aren't showing us anything about it either, so I can't enjoy that. And I can't enjoy the game, because there's nothing to do and you guys don't update it.

Right now, I can't recommend this game to anyone. All I can say is "it's this really cool physics engine where you can drive around with realistic crashes, but there's nothing else to do because it will be added in later updates".
You already have the best damn physics engine I've ever seen in my entire bloody life, now go make a proper game for it before everyone gets bored. Just add the basics, give us some quick updates that add a few new stuff. Once we can have proper races, police chases or delivery missions, add in a simple (even broken, that means extra fun) traffic AI, and you instantly have one of the best driving games money can buy. The physics engine is already good enough, you can improve it as you improve the game.

Once again, remember, we're all asking for a game because you sold us a game. Fuck my money, I don't care about that. I just want to see this great physics engine become the best. Fucking. Game. Ever. And it has the potential. You have the chance. Go take it now.

I finish my rant/formal request here.

Please learn to read. At no point did I say they were too slow. Their priority list is wrong is all I'm saying.

Sad to see you go but I get why you decided to leave for now. Sent you a few £'s to help out though.

Good luck with all your studies and real life stuff :)

Thank you for saying this....all of it. Totally agree. It's good to see that lots of us here have similar thoughts on the dev process.

I must agree. I feel that the Dev team should get their rears in gear and get some updates out; such as making a better AI, more cars, a tool to help modders make JBeams, exc (even if they are extremely buggy for a bit). Just something.
