Please add better wiper movements (more speed in level 2,3 and 1!)and aftermarket led headlights and abs
In 1963 Volkswagens did not have 3 speed wiper switches nor motors, they were single speed. Also I noticed that the Key has 4 positions OFF/ACC/IGN/STRT from factory I believe they only have OFF/IGN/STRT please correct me if i'm wrong. seeing led lights and stuff like that seems very cool, with the addition of aftermarket parts I think there should be aftermarket interior parts like perforated headliners and other bits and bobs. Great Mod just will need a bit more tinkering to get it to be more real. One more thing I feel as if the Pearl white colour seems too yellow, while this is correct for the steering and knobs its not so correct on the headliner and door cards. This is not an attack Im just telling you what i noticed, Thanks Beetleman Ps linked a photo down below of images.
You're totally right with the ignition thing, my '62 has just 3 positions. I believe maybe the later models and super beetles had the 4 positions.
I'm Not sure about later model cars. With the wiper motor and switch does your car have a knob that you pull to active the motor and a small sprayer button on the same knob?
When you re-spawn the car it says no motor oil but theres no warning light or anything related to it (im using 1.8L engine)
Steering wheel is not the same one, original has got 3 spokes and it is weird You have 3 gauges on the dashboard (white) A small white background clock on RPM thing Dashboard Is made out of leather Undertrays are separated and not with mesh following this video
Please note that there are major changes between the different production years, and this is mainly a 1963 Beetle. Also, some parts are not accurate in every detail by choice. It is not easy to get everything 100% accurate and I made some things differently by my creative choice. For many systems there is no direct way to change them with a mod. Including the ignition system, oil and engine lights. In fact, the ignition can be customized. They've added a way to do it, but I didn't looked into it yet.
Btw That beetle is extremely modified since first it is a '73 model with fenders and lights from a model from the 60s, plus there has never been Beetle with a dashboard like the one in that video and the steering wheel its not stock either
Exactly, the easiest way to tell what year model is the fenders, but if the fenders are early model on a late model car you can tell by window size
Cal look rubbers could be cool as well as perforated headliners and other aftermarket parts. I feel the AW mod could be MrX's personal customised variant and the Vw brand could be done as realistic as possible, not my choice to make, but just an idea
I definantly agree, I've been waiting for more "custom" additions like air suspension/drop spindles, pop-out windows, etc
