I've no permission to use anything from the Durham as it is not my mod, and there is absolutely no reason to use anything from it.

FINALLY we will have a food truck mod that not only works, but is a new vehicle too! (anyone remember that h-series food truck mod from like 2016? It needs an overhaul...)

A step van for beamng? Sign me the hell up, Ive been waiting ages for this badboy to ever exist. I will watch this progress with great interest.

 

Durham axles are weak as hell, you're better off with a regular H-Series / D-Series or grab the T-Series axles instead.

UNLESS if its just the model then that would be great, considering it could be buffed up

 

Facts because I was trying to haul a trailer with the Durham 2 axle with the fifth wheel then I was taking a turn at an intersection and the axles just snap off.

I don't know what to think of the skinny headlights.

 

I agree, but the taillights should be less uglier. For a modern step van design, take inspiration from Workhorse, Freightliner, International, and Utilimaster vans.

 

I feel like, if it was to be done, the slimmer headlight look could be done by just using some vanilla components. Look at models like the ETK I-Series, pre-facelift Soliad Wendover...if the split lights could be separated, the 93-05 H25 Vanster headlights could work, as well...maybe the Grand Marshal.

Basically, slimmer headlights from vehicles with flatter front ends, so less modifications would be needed to be made to the existing front structure.

 

Hey all, I have updated the first post with new information, and new pictures (Although not a lot has really changed)

 

I always enjoy seeing progress on a very good and unique mod... I'm sure a lot of people feel the same.

 

Great job on progression! The interior looks great. For the future, would it be possible to add the overhead storage above the dashboard? (Sorry for blurry photo, got it from a video that Chris Sing made.

 

I was thinking if bus conversions for this mod are possible. What do you think?

 

Someone did suggest a school bus configuration earlier in this thread, I have considered it
