Hello from California

Just wanted to say hello to the community, I'm a current RoR user and most people I have asked about this game highly recommended it. The game is downloading as we speak and I have yet to figure out most things (learned some from youtube) such as installing cars etc.... How is everyone enjoying the game so far?

 

I think the game is fantastic, I played RoR for ~1 year.
Signed up on forums a few hours before game was released, but I was on the forums a few days before it released.

I got RoR five years ago (holy crap) and played that right up until I heard about BeamNG. Followed the devlopmenent from the beginning, got the game as soon as it was released, and when I got my beast of a computer that could run it I almost played it nonstop; not as much now, but still at least once per day. Welcome to the forums and, likewise, hello from California!

 

Its Laggy if you don't use a supercomputer but i think you will not be disappointed . Been Playing ROR for 2 Yrs

Been playing RoR for about 4-5 years, decided to look up Rigs of Rods on YouTube just one day and came across the Revolutionary Soft Body Physics video on the BeamNG channel. Decided to Google it and found this marvellous creation known as BeamNG at the time. As soon as I got my new budget build PC, I could run this thing at full capacity with a few frame rate drops due to my CPU every now and then. Also, hello from Queensland in Australia.

 

Hey bud! I love this game! (I have more than 300 hours on it)

You do need a beast of a computer to run it though.. (I can run around 40 fps on low/medium)
I hope you have a great time playing the game! (I think pretty soon there'll be some actual game-play) like missions and races. Hello from Utah!

 

This game is amazing... Although sadly I have never even looked up the words "Rigs of Rods" on Google so I've never experienced it. You will love it. Trust me.
