Police are kinda dumb

I was reallyy hoping I was gonna get some footage like this, which is why I was recording.
But y'know, I'm casually driving on the roads of East Coast in my very American truck and then this all happens.

I see this is your first day, so welcome to the forums! And yeah, BeamNG police are dumber than the traffic :/

 

only problems ive had with the normal traffic is them going 10mph under the speed limit lmao

 

And them stopping at random places in wcusa.

 

Idk if this counts but chase mode is just... wow... The cars will not care what they hit, their only goal is to just destroy you... it's scary. Thank god they're even dumber than traffic cops

 

I feel like thats the point of chase mode, right? To chase you down, under any circumstances

lmao i changed my mind btw this one ai tried turning into the sawmill on east coast while im barreling down towards them with a semi at 35 mph

 

The ai don’t know how to merge on the highway, so it requires them come to a complete stop in the middle of the highway and I barrel through them right as cinematic crash cam kicks in.

Heres the AI turning into me btw (recording the replay because I like to watch my crashes like theyre dashcam footage)

 

also i wonder why civilian ai cars stopped driving (even on the highway) while chasing with police, why don't the ai just go move aside while got chased by police or turning on the siren

 

not sure and its kinda annoying
Especially when partaking in police chases, and you have to weave your way around weird ai stopping in the middle of the road

 

I think they move to the side when the player has police sirens on

 

As of my experience, they just stop in the middle of the road as soon as they hear the sirens.
