... okay. Let me (try to) explain the whole process: On the game's main menu, go to Repository. This will send you to the in-game repositiory, the place where most mods can be found. There are thousands of mods readily available there; just pick one and click "Suscribe" (or click the "+" symbol on the mod's slot). Doing so will automatically install and enable the mod for you. If you're looking for a mod not in the repository (the MAN TGS and the T-80UD are good examples), look for it in this official website first. Searching on ModLand or similar isn't illegal, but those have bad reputation for being filled with malware and/or low quality mods and thus looking there is generally frowned upon by BeamNG's fandom. Once you get the ZIP file, DO NOT UNPACK THE FOLDER, it won't work that way. Rather, open File Explorer on your PC, go to "Documents/BeamNG/moved here/mods/repo" and move the ZIP file there. (If you unpacked it for whatever reason, pack it again with "Compress to ZIP file" or move it to "[...]/mods/unpacked" instead if you want to edit it.) Once you did all this, load a map as usual, press ESC to open up the Radial/Top menus, click on "Vehicles" on the top and check that the "Include custom .PC configurations" box is active. (.PC files are how vehicle configs are saved in this game and tell it what parts and customizations to spawn the preset with.) Hopefully this helps.
You DO NOT go inside the .zip file you download. You simply move the file you download to "0.32/mods" There is no vehicles folder that you touch. Mods DO NOT go where the game is installed. They go to the user folder that is created in your User Accounts AppData folder.
Wat? When I click on a notification for a new message, it shows every other message on the next page. So I see no messages after the one I am replying to until after. Your reply was fine. What did you not explain well enough?
Oh, I did? I had tried to do my best in that matter, but you were still sort of hollering like you didn't see it :d Back to the mod topics, any potential that you might make a fully animated version of this upfit? You know, with hydraulics and everything, as opposed to the big heavy block we have now.
Correct. I did not see it until after I sent the message. That is what I said. I had someone offer to help me with that, but they have buried themselves in their own mods. I am not knowledgeable enough with jbeam to make it fully functional, sadly.
Bruh, did you know that T-series light bars go on with light bar function already with stock Beamng Drive? Light bars doesn't have to be for police cars --- Post updated ---
BruhBruhBruhBruhBruhBruhBruhBruhBruhBruhBruhBruhBruhBruhBruhBruhBruhBruhBruhBruhBruhBruhBruhBruhBruhBruhBruhBruhBruhBruhBruhBruhBruhBruhBruhBruhBruhBruhBruhBruhBruh BEAMNG LIGHTBARS MAKE CAR GO PULL OVER I'm very well aware that the T Series have lightbars that use the default Shift+N control. If you read what I said; default lightbar control make car move over to side of road. Car not suppose to pull to side of road when garbage truck behind. --- Post updated --- :3
So far the trash upfit is one gigantic block. It doesn't have any movable parts or animations, so there's not much point in recording its use.
When I spawn this in at the moment it just spawns as the standard stubby truck, please let me know if this is just me or if the new update broke something?
